Mike O and Greasy are both distractions from scot, the superior wagon. Re-read yos's and my posts for more info, especially the portions in large text. I would in fact suggest reading the portions in large text several times, to better allow them to sink in.Do not lynch me.

I am not voting GS just because of this (remember, my vote was on him before "this")...how do you explain GS's vote of me over Mike?..Beep! Beep! wrote:
Let me put it this way. GS is still more pro-town than MikeO, a lurker by design and deceit, and not a useful one at that, the few times he showed up.curiouskarmadog wrote:it was the way he did it Beep..
first he is pushing one way...
then as a BW develops on Mike(flame?)..he jumps on that wagon, what happened to the yos/scot thing he was so passionate about?
and now, he is voting me...does this pattern of voting look protown to you Beep?
GS can answer himself. But clearly the Yos vs. scot is going nowhere, and it should get nowhere, because it's too early to have a firm grip on the reliability of the information they have provided.
And I did make a case for voting MikeO, didn't I? Is any player moving away from Yos vs. Scot onto MikeO opportunistic, because I made a case that is sufficiently convincing, backed with supporting evidence?
I find it more strange that you'd declare GS scum over this, and make a decision not to vote MikeO.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

Eh? What makes you think the information isn't reliable?Beep! Beep! wrote: GS can answer himself. But clearly the Yos vs. scot is going nowhere, and it should get nowhere, because it's too early to have a firm grip on the reliability of the information they have provided.
I'm all in favor of lurkerwagons, and GS has been acting oddly, but I think it's pretty clear that the move for today is to lynch Scot, the guy who seems to be lying scum here. Not only do we get rid of a scum that way, but considering how pretty much everyone has commented on the scot issue in ways with differing amounts of logic, I really think proving Scot's alignment will make a lot of other people's alignment pretty clear here.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-

Hmm. Just finished my reread, and I may as well start with my position on the Scot thing, because I like that kind of intrigue.
Definitely not as entirely deadset on Y2's info now that I've read the additional stuff that came out Page 9. (Skitzer sabotaging the car, and Y2 claiming to have seen Scot hit her in the head, not kill her) In fact, I do sort of read backtracking in this series of bits of Y2's posts:
The investigative results spececifically say I personally saw my father, Scot, kill Marissa.
On the other hand, there's no reason that Scot wouldn't know about a significant game event that happened during Night 0, and he's still really splitting hairs, so I want a yes or no answer from Scot to these two questions:That's interesting, because I specifically saw Scot strike her on the head.
1) Did you, based on the information you have, have any interaction with Marissa Night 0?
2) Did you strike her in the head at that point?
But still, the line must be drawn clearly between flavor and nightgame information, and I think the opinion I gave in my last post is the only reasonable one before complicating factors came out explicitly. So I think there's some cause for suspicion towards people that were too suspicious originally; I think undo was the first to start confounding flavor with Y2's info, around post 136.
Of course, I don't think anyone who's been trying to dissuade the Scot bandwagon is scum; there are probably some town that figure there's something better to go on, or got confused, or whatever. But there's some scumhunting we can do based on it, especially if we find out Scot's alignment. And I don't think scot's response is reasonable, unless he's still clinging to some information he hasn't given us yet. So I'll go with avote: Scotmanyfor now.
And here's an exchange I think is really interesting from back on page 3, well before Y2'd let on that he knew anything:
FrankyPeanuts wrote:Perhaps maybe we can discuss the information we all know are facts; such as the 3 murders that occured last night.
I'm not sure whether that's more of town misspeculating or scum trying preemptively to throw us off the scent.Scot wrote:@FrankyPeanuts: Those deaths, I believe, are just flavor wise. I do not know if they will have any importance to the game, but I don't think we can gain any info from them.-

Considering putting my vote back on Mike. His reappearance is not very impressive. Starts with a hypocritical attack on Greasy, and continues to respond to criticism with sarcasm.
Also considering putting my vote back on Scot. It does seem strange that he wouldn't have been informed of his actions. I'm still worried that we don't have all the info we need.
I don't think there's a viable third alternative at this point, though. I think we'll have to make a decision between these two, but first, it'd be nice to hear from everyone. Several people need prods, I think. In Tartiflette We Trust-

Apparently we have a deadline in 6 days from now.

Eight players:
Rosso Carne, Undo, Mike O'Malley, Imat, skitzer, Killa Seven, The Goat, and Creampuffeater, have not posted in the last three days. (Rosso Carne was the most recent to post, and that was Friday).
Inasmuch, the four worse offenders have been prodded, and the deadline is now set in stone. You have FIVE days! At deadline, if a player has a majority of actual votes (IE their votes/all votes of players voting >50%) then they will be lynched. Otherwise, they won't be.-

So, we need a majority of active votes at deadline to lynch. Right now, there are 14 active votes, so we need 8 votes on someone before deadline, or it's a no lynch.
I still think it's pretty clear Scot is the correct choice here, that's both more likely to give us a scum and will give us more information then any other lynch I can see.
One other point: if you're the only person voting for someone, you are making it harder for the town to lynch at this point because you're increasing the number of "active" votes. If you're really convinced your vote is right, then you need to make a case for it; otherwise, you need to at least unvote that person, otherwise all you're doing is increasing the odds of a no-lynch.I want us to win just for Yos' inevitable rant alone. -CrashTextDummie-
