@bolded: No. It's about the BNLp vote. A couple of steps into my thought process might help.
1. The vote is not meant to get him lynched or it would be being pushed properly. So what is the point?
2. Taking a reads list wall and declaring it from scum makes it less likely to be followed by the sheepy players in the game. Point is to discredit subtly.
3. This would be dangerous if not for LQ knowing that it is unlikely to be enough to get him lynched, so he can get away with the slight suggestion that BNLp isn't on the ball to the rest of the game.

So my point is that LQ is a good enough player to feel that a surface level scum points action like OMGUS shouldn't result in his lynch and so take the risk.

The trick here is that omgus isn't always omgus and just conflict in reads. I don't seriously think that is the case here.

You are giving me way too much credit. In truth, I never consider myself a leader really in any game. I have tried to do it once and I ended up sheeping someone else. I have a very single mindedness about me when I play the game. If you want to know how to read me all you have to consider is this:

As Town I don't keep track of who said what about who or even pay attention to a series of events that take place during the game. I just look at posts and try to see if it is a Town post or a Scum post and that is really it.

As Scum All I really do is try to play like I would play my Town game trying to give the same kind of reasoning for my reads which is very difficult for me. I have a horrible Scum game and am caught very early most of the time.

Came up with this at the beginning of day phase so some of what's posted may be dated or not factoring in Postie already declaring me townread #1 but as a result of that fact I'm no longer confident enough in this plan being fulfilled for this to be worth waiting anyway.

So, I'm finding this to be an incredibly difficult lynch to choose from because all 3 of them are actually ridiculously towny. But you are too. So I've been jumping all over the places with reads searching for what I've overlooked. I've long been past the point where I've even considered lynching you, but that leaves 3 lynches. And even if you townread me in return, as you saw in Newbie land, I just die. So we need a plan. I've got one.

I'll start with an explanation of the situation between myself and Titus that explains why I didn't vote Titus despite clearly indicating a scumread, then continue with explanations of my reads on everyone else and an explanation for why I townread you in hopes that you will trust me as well. Then I will explain my plan to guarantee a win no matter who the last scum is.

I think the big crux of scumreads on me, why most people are FoSing me is why was I refusing to vote Titus even though I had clearly expressed a scumread on her. And I've had people defending me by saying that, well RC has hard bus meta, always lynches partners, etc., but if you understand the situation between the two of us it makes a ton more sense.

Myself & Titus:

A big part of you understanding why I behaved around the Titus lynch as I did in Day One is understanding the situation between myself and Titus. We'd played two games together, I caught her as scum in a NY and beat her as scum in another NY before she replaced into 1682 and started trying to lynch me after I had made a huge gambit that had cleared her.

This game was ongoing at the time of the Titus lynch going on, me having already lynched her, but the game not having finished if I recall correctly.

As you can see, my and Titus's mutual tunnel made the game impossible for town even though both of us had pegged one of the scum. And that happens A LOT; us tunneling each other is pretty well known among people who have played with us both. So immediately in the aftermath of that game, I was so incredibly not in the mood to risk lynching her and wanted to try to patch things up a little so I offered to vote with her and refused to lynch her, even though I had expressed scumreads repeatedly in thread.

Recently things have gotten a decent amount better but since it mostly involves ongoing games I can't talk about it. We're on much better terms and are in fact going to hydra together, which I think a lot of people would find hilarious. I'm actually looking forward to it. I've made an effort to give Titus some space because usually if I leave her be she shows that she's town; see the game linked under. But at the time of this game, I was not keen on lynching Titus for these reasons, in spite of my scumread on her.

Pie Scumread

The truth right here is that I, frankly, do not know. I'd love to be able to pick someone to call scum (or town!) but I can't. I have strong reasons to FoS every single one of them, Espeon perhaps the least but he's also made virtually no fucking content and that's a pain in the ass to read. However, particularly with that replace out, I'm strongly leaning towards InflatablePie for the last scum.

There's some really cheeky posts in D1 that as the game goes on have really really pinged me.

You might not have as much reason to agree with this one as I do but I've had a lot of recent experiences with scum using the phrase "gun to my head" in contexts where it's not necessarily applicable.

Why gun to your head, what's the rush to solve? It's sort of like "honestly" and "tbh" to me in that it's sort of an "I want an excuse to make a snap judgement on something." It unnecessarily closes the period of thought.

Something about the throwing in the "kabuki" there is just so fucking cheeky and strikes me as similar to some of the lines I've made myself as scum.

I hate this, and I hate the way he talked about sscumreading Titus here, and I just hate it hate it.

Skipping posts, there's a bunch where Titus and Pie throw shade on each other, neither ever votes but Pie unvotes who he's voting and doesn't shift, then we get to the slip and then we get this post.

Me, Postie, BNL - so LQ and Vyse, y'all better hammer or else we NL.

So, at first I thought Pie was #1 town because he was the big one who led the bus, but now I'm not so sure. Don't forget, Espe voted as well but he did in a much more subdued. This is a deliberately dramatic declaration: he WANTS everyone to know HOLY FUCK GUYS IM TOWN LOOK AT MY BIG DRAMATIC VOTE ON THE WAGON.

Rest is history.

But I was just on Vyse, and Wgeurts is pushing on me in a scummy as fuck way and wouldn't vote Titus who was a nullread, and Espe has no content so he's difficult to sort.

So we need something better than just lynching people here.

Oh, and I will explain my reads on the other two if you need them to read me. But this has gotten to the point where I could see any of them as scum and I want a way to win no matter what happens.

This will become, as you will find at the end, mostly irrelevant. I'm sharing this so you understand where my thoughts are (were?).

I mostly skipped the stuff that happened in the room because nothing really alignment indicative happened besides an interesting RXN test on the first page and I'm feeling too lazy to shakespearify everything.

That said, the big thing was his odd reaction around the Titus hammer when he scumread the slot, then didn't address the slip and refused to hammer. Like, that's by far the largest thing. But here's a few other things that I don't like.

So, yeah. I'm sharing my reads here not because I think they matter but because I think it's important that you implicitly trust me.
If there's anything further you need me to do on that front let me know immediately.

Because I'm at the point where frankly I don't know if we can hammer this right, and maybe we don't have to.

What I need you to do is, after we decide that you're being bodyguarded for everyone, you need to pick the lynch, and lead it. Onto ANYONE but me.

Lynch who you're scumreading, lynch who I am, whatever. Literally doesn't matter.

And when you lead it, you say something along the lines of "Scum is definitely one of RC / X, but I think it's more likely to be X. Bodyguard me, if this is wrong we lynch RC tomorrow, no questions."

We lynch right, great. Game's over. If not? We go into night, and scum are going to KILL THE LAST OF THE 3 PEOPLE AND CONFIRM THEMSELVES.

And this works very happily with Wgeurts newfound scumread of me, regardless of his alignment. Scum aren't going to want to kill me and that's our chance; shade's already been thrown on my slot and you're going to be claiming to have suspected me. They'll go for whoever isn't me and roleblock me happily and think you'll hand them the game.

But we'll just quickhammer them together tomorrow.

The impetus to this is that you need to convincingly both push the lynch while simultaneously not letting slip that you're not in fact scumreading me; I can help you if you post your intended posts in here before we let them go and give them a once over and make sure no one figures out our ruse.

Hell, if we wanna be super cheeky about this, Espeonage even has a vote.

Much less posting that you'd have to not let anything slip through, and you could easily just frame it as "Well, Vyse/Wgeurts and Pie are obvtown so we lynch Espe for not contributing then RC who didn't get on Titus wagon, yada yada.

I'm doing my best not to respond to anything that Wgeurts says to engender scum feeling like I'm the universal scumread and pick for tomorrow's lynch. I believe it's for the best here; if you're not confident or comfortable enough with my alignment here let me know so I can start defending my slot publicly.
