Sorry - now that I know the game's started I'll definitely be active .

I am unsure if I should just post what was in the box when I grabbed it and what I took - or wait to see what develops.

I already know two people it will come down to as taking diamonds - however I am confident which one took diamonds based on something stated.

I know *how many* people above me took diamonds as well.

I took a Loyal Henchman chip. I did remove a chip from the game, the Agent.

FYI this is a guaranteed claim. Lilith is cleared.

Either someone isn't very smart about their own strategy, or someone (else?) is very clever about what they're doing.

Either way I'd like to make sure everyone's aware the rules indicate

In my opinion choosing not to make a statement when you should be making a statement and just waiting to be asked about it would tell me you are the person lying, waiting for more information or waiting for the Godfather to make an ill-informed decision to buy you time.

I took a henchman.

Which is why I said I knew how many took Diamonds before me (4 roles are missing, and some diamonds, thus only one person before me could have taken diamonds).

Also, the fact Carey said there were 5 diamonds and that she took a Henchman is a dumb thing to claim because she already knows I'm going to inform you there were 2 Henchman Chips left, and she already knew at that point that Ika was claiming there were 10 Diamonds in the box, AKA she's setting herself up to be invalided by both the person before her and the person after her.

The only way her statement is true is if there were 3 henchmen in the box and 5 diamonds. Which if possible, she should have told you then and there that Ika was lying and there were 3 Henchman.

There are two alternatives:

1) Ika is a Driver and there were 5 Diamonds left and he assumed the person before him took diamonds and that's why he claimed. However, if this were the case Carey would have made a point that Ika was lying about the number of henchman left, which Carey did not do. HOWEVER, the fact Ika states there were 10 Diamonds in the case, which only YOU, LLD, would know, means Ika is either A) telling the truth or B) taking a risk. If there was in fact 10 to begin with there is no way Ika would know this and I highly doubt he'd risk this.

2) Ika could have taken Diamonds, and Carey could be the Driver is an alternate method, which would explain why her lie is so... weird, as I said, it is invalided but both the person before her and after her and she would have known this at the time she made her statement because she knows what I would have seen and she saw Ika's claim. This is only possibly if Ika was confident Carey was the Driver though and could risk a claim in hopes that Carey was the driver (I'd have to see how many people posted between when you asked and who posted aka indicated they weren't the driver)...

Long story short it seems dumb to me that Carey would claim something that is both invalidated by me and Ika.

Also, either Bello or JDGA took 2 diamonds based on JDGA's claim. The fact JDGA's comment said it was the last henchman... for all JDGA knows the first 4 people could have all been henchman and there wasn't any left and then there'd be 2 people ahead of him claiming he's lying. So I think JDGA is telling the truth. Bello now has a choice of saying "I took the last henchman and there were still 5 diamonds left" (making it bello vs. JDGA) or saying "there were 2 henchman left and I took 3 diamonds" (making it me vs. Bello).

The fact Carey is continuing to be short when Carey should be more adament Ika is lying (about the # of Henchman, the # of Diamonds) is just dumb... I'd need to think out how likely it is Carey is a Driver and Ika took diamonds... but that means Ika risked assuming Carey was the Driver (or maybe he just made a risk and thought it wouldn't matter what Carey choose, which is totally possible).

The obvious solution is Carey took diamonds and Ika is a good driver, but the fact she's making a dumb claim that is invalided by both me & Ika is just... dumb.

You realize you're saying Ika took Diamonds AND Driver and you haven't even claimed how many henchmen were in the box when you get it.

Carey could be driver and Ika could have taken 5 diamonds. I'd advise picking her first in the *rare* scenario she is the driver. It seems dumb for her to claim driver was missing and 5 diamonds were missing unless she wants to be picked.

There were 5 diamonds when I got the box and we already know that Carey took 5 of them... if there were in fact 10 diamonds to begin LLD already knows you're lying .

There was 1 (henchman) chip when I passed Bell the box though, so that is accurate.

BeBop isn't referring to Godfather, he is referring to being first to get the box. The order, however, is randomized I believe.

I don't actually think it's broken...

consider if Carey and bell had said the following:

Carey: "There were 5 diamonds in the bag and I took the driver." or "There were 10 diamonds in the bag and I took a loyal henchman."

Bell: "There were 5 diamonds in the bag and I took the last henchman." Or "There were 3 diamonds in the bag and I took a henchman."

If either of those were stated, then the first scenario becomes either Ika vs. Carey or Carey vs Blackberry and the Godfather has a 50% chance of getting it wrong.

If either of the second two were stated, then it becomes Bell vs. Blackberry or Bell vs. JDGA, and the Godfather has a 50% chance of getting it wrong.

Since the Godfather has a Rum, the only way they lose is if they guessed wrong in both scenarios, which is still a small 25%. But when/where the Driver is does play an affect into the game. Also if multiple people took Diamonds (aka, say Stranger took 3 diamonds, he could have then claimed JDGA took all 3 of them and that he took a henchman, and possibly setting up Ika vs. Carey, Blackberry vs. Bell, JDGA vs. Stranger scenarios making it even harder for Godfather to win).

Ok I need the confirmed people's help with opinions on this jazz.

Obviously LLD is lying as there were 14 diamonds in bag. So I can scratch off her taking a henchman.

I personally think anyone would be an idiot to take the Agent as the first chip because it's super hard to get picked as taking diamonds.

Obviously 1 and only 1 took chips and *at least one* is an Agent/Driver. LLD did lie intentionally and dumbly (she claimed a chip was missing and that 2 roles were missing). She either didn't know how many chips there were to begin with or wanted to draw attention to herself.

It doesn't make sense for gamma to take agent and bury henchman, and since both chips were missing by the time it got to LLD/ika i think we can assume gamma is a henchman. I think ika is the thief and LLD the agent, because the number of diamonds that ika claims to have received and the number of diamonds that were passed to SC were the same. If he were the agent, I feel like he would make more of an effort to look like he stole something?? but idk.

LLD lied about there being 13 chips. It is impossible for there to be 13 chips when it got to LLD. It was either 12 or 14, 13 is not possible though. I also realized going in reverse order gives the people before them a chance to confuse us more - probs not the best idea but oh well.
