If you don't sign your posts, then why does it matter which head made a post prior to be voted? Why should it matter to the voter, and why are you bringing it up as if it matters?

Neighborhoods can be heavily utilized as scum as a way to be perceived as town. It's also much easier to coax your neighborhood than the players themselves. I don't know anything about what's going on about the neighborhood so I'm not sure how much discussion they are exactly having.

I have not seen that succeed, in general, very well. Against me, yes, but mostly, no. More activity helps to get a better read on the players, but that does not automatically equal a townread.

farside's PV vote is town. I didn't like the PV post right before it either, but that's primarily because I don't like anything he's posted recently. They all feel like he's trying to cherrypick things that look like he's doing something but don't actually do anything.

Not really. I'm doing enough to stay engaged with the game because I want to play, but day1 on day1 is not a strength of mine, and I know it. I will cherrypick things that stand out or interest me, or talk to people about those things.

He's the only player in the hood I'm not townreading, and the way he was commenting on his role and playing up wanting an all town neighborhood looked like scum fishing to me.

The consistency of the reads is very strange. They're mostly constant, but the changes are out of place and don't necessarily follow from the goings on in the game thread at least. One example of this is the reads on his neighbors: BRantz and -Blonde-. Post 284, he indicates a scum read on -Blonde-. It magically transforms into a townread in Post 644 when his neighborhood suddenly becomes "all town." The only post from -Blonde- in the interim was Post 424 asking for a summary and that's hardly alignment indicative. For all the defense Metal throws into the thread, he never once reinforces the defense with references to any events occurring in the neighborhood. As a result, his defense is feckless and doesn't have any teeth. It's characteristic of the calculated inaction defense that seems to be a go-to for scum.

Checked back, and this is true, in terms of the post 284 stance and the 644 stance. While the 284 was not strong, he did "call him scum".

I also checked in terms of -Blonde- and Brantz, since their hood was in question (and I saw in Metal's iso who was in it). Brantz and Metal seem to be townreading each other.

For Metal to be scum in this scenario, is he buddying his town neighbors, or is he scum with one or both of them?

Read Aeronaut ISO and Skybird. Both starting to lean towards scum on him. But, neither is basing it on the other's reads.
