Game Rules:

Rule 0: Don't be a dick.

- If you are being a dick, you run the risk of force-replacement or modkill. You may or may not be warned.

General:

- Please adhere to the site rules.
- Do not discuss this game of mafia outside of this thread unless your role PM allows you to do so.
- Day phases will last 2 weeks maximum.
- Night Phases will last 48 hours maximum.
- During night phase, no talking may be done in the thread.
- Do not quote PM's from the mod at all (real or fabricated). Paraphrasing is acceptable.
- If you have any questions about your role, or the game, feel free to PM the mod.
- "Bah" posts are not allowed.
- If you break any of these rules, you will probably be modkilled.

Voting/Player Actions:

- All votes must be in bold format: vote: Nexus for example.
- Try to unvote before voting. Unvotes must also be in bold.
- Any and all votes will be counted, if you wish to waste a day phase voting for someone not in the game,that's fine by me.
- You may vote No Lynch.
- Voting tricks are not acceptable. If you misspell someone's name intentionally, but I get the gist of it, the vote will count.
- A lynch will occur once a majority decision is reached. If no majority is reached by deadline, then no lynch shall occur.
- Following a lynch, it is twilight. You may continue to post until I lock the thread and declare it night.
- If you are killed, one Bah! type post is permitted. No game related information must be relayed during them, however.
- If you have a Night Action, you may submit it from Night 1 and each subsequent Night. No other time.

Activity:

- You are expected to post at least once every 48 hours. If you haven't posted for 48 hours, I shall prod you. If you do not respond to the prod within 48 hours (either in thread if it's Day, or via PM during the Night) then I will replace you.
- Similarly, if you require more than three prods, I will force-replace you.

Mechanics:

- Blue is my colour. Please don't use it.

- Confirm by how your Role PM tells you to once you are ready to play. Once there are 17 confirms, the game begins.
- Do not edit your posts.
- No impossible/hard to read text, or cryptography.
- The Mod may make mistakes - please point out any mistakes gently. Mistakes will be corrected where possible, but sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed. These will stand as final to be commiserated over after the game.
- If there is a hydra in the game, you must not post in your normal account. Doing so and then not quoting it as a hydra will invite a warning. Excessive failure to post as a hydra and not quoting it will result in force-replacement.
- If you need to get the mod's attention, either PM me, or bold the text you wish to draw to my attention.
- I reserve the right to alter/remove/add any rules as I see fit. You will, of course, be notified if that happens, however.

The Crow
- Once per Night, you may drop down from the rafters. This doesn't do anything, it just looks cool. Plus, since you don't work for Vince McMahon, you didn't die.

Surfer
- Before you turned goth, you were a cool surfer dude. Once per Day, you can hit someone around the head with your surf board. It doesn't really do anything, but hey, at least you don't work for Vince McMahon.

Vote
- During the Day you may use your vote to lynch whoever you think is scum.

You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

I'm shocked and appalled at the bitching and complaining out of the vets - particularly considering some of them have faced much worse than the Shield in their careers..."

"Yes, we all remember the Nexus, or even the NWO, but if you consider it, none of them felt as coherent or as organised as the Shield. And that, that is the most terrifying thing."

*Vince McMahon's entrance music hits.*

"And here he is, the one, the only, Vincent Kennedy McMahon."

Vince makes his way to the ring, shaking hands and handing out high fives. Despite his eagerness, though, he has a sombre look on his face. As he enters the ring, he gestures for a microphone.

"Cut my music. Cut it. Right. I'm out here for one reason, and one reason only. To discuss the Shield. Oh yes. Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose, you think you're so smart. You think you're the big dogs of the WWE right now. I can assure you that you are not. I am. I'm the biggest dog of them all. Vincent Kennedy McMahon. "Anyway, the reason I'm out here is this: I have a proposition for anyone in that locker room. He dropped his microphone as Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns advanced upon him. Rollins hit him with a quick punch, and Ambrose dropkicked him. They lifted him up onto Reigns' shoulders, and then they hit the Triple Powerbomb.

"Oh...my....God. The Shield have Powerbombed the boss."

"Never mind that, where the hell are the other superstars?! $300,000! They're idiots."

"You go on and take them then. Go on."

JBL looked across at the Shield, who were now looking at him. He shook his head. The stable rolled out of the ring, and melted back into the crowd.

"Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit," the crowd chanted, as EMTs came to stretcher out Vince McMahon.

Backstage, the locker room was full. The more vocal superstars were arguing, but it was current Hall of Famer and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the Rated R Superstar, Edge, who quietened them all down.

"I realise that this is a less than ideal situation. They've now taken out the boss. We have to work together to bring them down. Now is not the time for in-fighting. So everyone shut up, and we'll come up with a plan. Together, we can defeat this group.

There were murmurs of assent, but everyone was now listening. The camera fades away, as Edge begins to explain his plan.

The lights drop again.

"Not sure that the Shield appreciated being called a bunch of goons, Michael. Definitely not by Paul Heyman of all people."

The lights turn up again. The Shield are in the ring, surrounding Paul Heyman. He looks like he has crapped his pants, and looks pleadingly at the entrance ramp. No-one comes to save him, as he is knocked down by a boot to the head by Seth Rollins. Roman Reigns makes his traditional growl as Rollins and Ambrose lift Heyman onto his shoulders.

"No way..."

TRIPLE POWERBOMB. The Shield drops Paul Heyman and melt back into the crowd.

"OH MY GOD. THE SHIELD HAVE DESTROYED PAUL HEYMAN, AND NOBODY CAME TO HELP HIM. NOBODY."

EMTs come out and wheel Heyman away.

Dolph Ziggler is stood in the middle of the ring, his belt on his shoulder, mic in his hand. To his right, Big E. Langston, and on his other arm is AJ Lee.

"Damn right I'm here. No concussion is going to keep me out for that long. When I heard the biggest star in the business, Duane 'The Rock' Johnson, was going to be on Smackdown, I was beside myself with excite-HA no I wasn't. Let's face it, ladies and gents, The Rock is washed up. He lost to Cena at Wrestlemania, injuring himself in the process, and he's just back for another paycheck and cheap pop. Well Rocky, here's your chance. Come out and hear your adoring fans."

The arena went silent for a moment, before a huge "ROCKY" chant started. Ziggler stood in the ring, smirking. A couple of minutes passed, and the chant began to peter out.

"There we go, he's let you down again."

A video came up on the titan tron. It showed the Rock, laid out, in the back. He wasn't moving.

Back in the ring, Dolph Ziggler shrugged his shoulders. "Nothing to do with me, I'm afraid ladies and gents, I've been out here all match."

The arena was stunned to silence as they watched the Rock be wheeled away on a gurney.

"Tonight's Raw promises to be action packed, with the Shield still running about, and plenty of matches lined up."

Justin Roberts steps into the ring, mic in hand.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, making his return from long-term injury, is Evan 'Air' Bourne!"

Evan Bourne's music hits, and he sprints to the ring, smile on his face. The crowd goes wild for the young man, as he climbs the turnbuckle, music blaring, crowd cheering.

The lights plunge into darkness. The countdown begins. Everyone's heads turn to look at the titan tron. It's the outline of a jacket, lit up with fairy lights. Chris Jericho's music hits, and boos ring around the crowd. The Canadian superstar makes his way to the ring as he smirks to the boos, when suddenly the lights drop again. The crowd falls silent.

The lights come back up, and Chris Jericho is surrounded by the Shield. They're beating the hell out of him. Evan Bourn goes to assist, but he's laid out by a spear from Roman Reigns. The Shield drags Jericho to the ring, where they lift him onto Reigns' shoulders. TRIPLE POWERBOMB. Jericho is out like the light. The Shield fades back into the audience, before anyone else has a chance to respond.

"You rejoin us here on Raw, and it's Sin Cara versus Seth Rollins of the Shield. Now the Shield attacked Sin Cara a couple of weeks ago, and put him through a table, so the high flyer has got revenge in mind."

"He sure has Michael. Sin Cara may not have made the biggest impression within the WWE in his time here, but I'm sure he'll do whatever it takes to win."

The bell rings and the two wrestlers lock up. Seth Rollins dominates the early proceedings, with a glorious dropkick and then springboard leg drop off the ropes. Sin Cara recovers well with a hurricanrana and enzuigiri, and the action slows down a little. Seth Rollins goes for a DDT, which Sin Cara reverses, dropping the Shield member with a swift exchange of kicks. The luchadore leaps to the top rope, readying himself for a Swanton Bomb. He hits it, and Rollins staggers to his feet. Sin Cara runs towards the ropes, rebounding off, hits a tilt-a-whirl headscissors into a single arm DDT, covers Rollins, and gets the pin.

"Oh my God JBL, I did not expect Sin Cara to win that one."

"You've got to remember, Michael, that Sin Cara was one of the best Mexican wrestlers ever. It's no surprise that he is capable of success here in the WWE."

"No doubt indeed, but here come the rest of the Shield to get their revenge....wait...what's this? The locker room has emptied and is blocking the ring. Meanwhile, Sin Cara has collected a steel chair. OH MY GOD. He leathered Seth Rollins with the chair, knocking him out. The two other Shield members have run away again. mastin2 and Desperado had a quick back and forth match, with both of them hanging on for dear life. Finally, someone ran in, and cracked mastin2 round the head with a steel chair, laying him out and leaving Desperado to get the pin. Desperado retreated, and mastin2 was fired in the centre of the ring by Vickie Guerrero.

Vickie goes to reply, but Punk puts his hand up to stop her. "Get out of my ring."

Vickie complies, and Punk sits, cross-legged, in the centre of the ring.

"It was me. I attacked the Rock. I attacked your precious John Cena. I've taken their crappy Championship belt, and I've chucked it in the bin. It astonishes me that The Rock was allowed to pick the design of a new belt, when he had only just won the title, yet I, who held the title for 434 days, was never allowed to get rid of the Spinner Belt. The belt that was always associated with John Cena. I wasn't allowed to make a belt of my own design. No. So I decided to take action. I went away for a little while, "injured." I took some time to consider my options - I had plenty of offers to go elsewhere...yes Vince, even Dixie Carter phoned me. However, I decided to stay. I decided to stay, and I decided to take out those who had pissed me off most. I started with the Rock - you'll be surprised how easy it was to take him out. Then I took out THE CHAMP. That wasn't so easy, but seeing him unconscious was brilliant. So here I am. Back in the WWE. Back to win back MY CHAMPIONSHIP, and change it to MY OWN DESIGN. I'M THE BEST IN THE WORLD. Pipebomb."

Roman Reigns gains the upper hand at the beginning, levelling Sheamus with some good punches and a powerslam. The Irish superstar manages to reverse into a White Noise, but Reigns kicks out on two. Sheamus gets ready for a Brogue Kick, but Reigns ducks under it, leaving Sheamus tangled up in the ropes. As Sheamus untangles himself..

"OH MY GOD! WHAT A SPEAR"

Sheamus is on the floor, and Reigns goes for the cover.

"ONE...TWO...THR-OH MY GOD HE KICKED OUT."

Sheamus drags himself to his feet as Reigns lines up another spear. Sheamus sidesteps, turns, and levels Reigns with a Brogue Kick.

"ONE...TWO...THREE...SHEAMUS HAS DONE IT. HE'S DEFEATED THE SECOND MEMBER OF THE SHIELD."

"Here comes Dean Ambrose...."

"...aaand there goes Dean Ambrose as Sheamus lobs him out of the ring."

"Reigns is back on his feet."

"BROGUE KICK. THAT ONE CONNECTED SQUARE WITH HIS HEAD, AND REIGNS IS OUT OF IT."

I'll be honest, I almost abandoned the game when I required five replacements. It really hindered the game, and contributed to the no-lynch Day 1. That said, I hold my hands up, I fucked up with the date and time. Sorry about that.

When the replacements came in, the game changed. This is the first game I've modded where the PRs actually kicked ass. It was brilliant - so lucky and well used by them. Well done.

Thank you to all who replaced in. I was secretly rooting for the CM Punk win, it is my favourite role I've ever made, but ah well!

Good game guys. Any thoughts? Critiques? How was the flavour?

Macho IC is fun because it is only really one day of confirmed town, but on the other hand if you're shit town, the scum could leave you alone if your reads are awful til just before LYLO. It's interesting tictacs from both a town and scum POV
