Rules

1. "Nights" will last as long as I need them to. The deadline will be posted. If you need an extension, just tell me, I might need one someday myself.

2. "Days" will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose a deadline. If discussion picks up, the deadline will be rescinded. Aren't I the nice one??? (the correct answer is... NO)

3. Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. If you are not counted, you do not exist.

4. Unvotes must proceed new votes. If you do not unvote before voting, you are still voting for the previous person. If you are still voting for the previous person, they may become dead.

5. Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life. At deadline, half majority will constitute a lynch. Otherwise, there will be no lynch.

6. No lynches are allowed, they require the same votes as a lynch.

7. The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so. You button your lip, or I button it for you.

8. Once your death scene has been posted, unless you're not dead, you’re dead. You will be told if you're not dead. Once your dead please DO NOT POST until the game is over. I will allow one "BAH!" post, as long as it contains no pertinent information.

9. Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. No matter what stupid thing you've done. Why can't you just THINK? I mean, come on!

10. Don’t quote any PMs or e-mails from me, lest I kill you.

11. If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. If you miss a deadline, a random choice will be made. This usually involves you being very unhappy.

12. If you're going to be gone any amount of time, let everyone know.

into an alley, beating her senseless. Her last thoughts are wondering, in all her years of practicing healing and medicine to protect others from harm, why she never learned self-protection.

was always obssessed with money, and he found that becoming a doctor was the fastest way to get rich in this city. And so he has his own practice, but in light of the situation, he closed down in order to help out with injuries at the local health clinic. With their limited staff, he was the only one they could afford to send out on patrol that night, looking for injuries to heal. When he sees some suspicious people in the neighborhood, he parks in front of a house, watching to see if anyone needs help. When his job is finally done, dawn has almost arrived, and he needs to head back home. As he turns onto Main Street, a molotov cocktail comes crashing through his car window, exploding before he has time to react.

The town endures a very stressing first day of turmoil, unable to come to a lynch decision on countless occasions, running into roadblocks at every corner. However, 2 anvils and several bandwagons later, they agree that Zimri Jaasau must be hiding something. The town strings him up, putting him up on a stool to hang, when he makes a surprise move. Zimri kicks the stool out from under himself, falling to his death at the hands of the noose. Night falls quickly, and the town scurries around to make plans before it's too dark to communicate. Several people rush to Jaasau's house, where they find evidence of his involvement in a crime syndicate. Others check Curt Callahan and Harmon Darien's houses, finding tools for roleblocking and vigging, respectively. The town hurries to their homes as night falls, hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Even so, it was the only place in town where he could escape the gruel of his duties. As much as he liked being employed by the syndicate, he needed a place to blow off steam once in a while. Tonight was another one of those nights for

was doing rather well, his earnings only rivalled by the cloaked stranger in the far corner. As players ran out of money and drifted off,

went over to the hooded man and invited him to a game. Things went well, and

kept on winning. As the game came to a close, the stranger stood up to take his leave. "Congratulations on your winnings here tonight,

ducked into an alleyway and headed through the maze of streets that lead back to his house. After a short while, he noticed that someone was following him. Parker ducked around a corner, waiting for his stalker to appear. As the footsteps drew near,

jumped out from the building, firing his hunting rifle at the figure before him. Somehow, the stranger dodged sideways, avoiding the bullet. As the man passed under a streetlight,

noticed the beer bottle in his left hand as he stumbled sideways once again, nearly tripping on the sidewalk. "Oh, it's just you",

laughed, recognizing his stalker. "I didn't expect you to be out and about at this time of night." The man only grumbled, barely coherent in his drunken stupor. "Why don't you head on home, you're bound to hurt yourself in that state."

reached out a hand to support him, but the man brushed it away angrily. "This is for the humiliation you gave me!" Growling, the beer bottle came up to connect with

head, knocking him to the ground.

Parker's

gun went skittering down the sidewalk, out of reach for the moment. He shook his head, trying to recover from the blow, but then he felt a sharp stabbing sensation in his chest, followed by several more, until he felt nothing at all. The man stood over

body, holding the bloody shards of his bottle. "You weren't the first, and you won't be the last. This isn't over yet!" Dropping the bottle in the sewer drain, he stalked off down the street, ducking into the nearest alleyway.

The town of Indecision wakes to another bright morning. It seems that one of the local bars were shot up last night, although the culprit seems to have been killed as well. The bodies of

are added to the rest of the casualties, and their houses are searched. In

home, searchers find evidence similar to that which was found in

house yesterday, but the happy note ends when

home is searched. Even given his violent actions, there is no sign that

was working against the city. It seems that he had decided to take the law into his own hands, seeking out and killing anyone he found suspicious around town. On a brighter note, only those two bodies are found, and everyone else seems to be accounted for.

made her living as the proprietor of a small general store. The store had been in her family for generations, and it was one of the last family-owned businesses in Indecision, surviving against the competition of mega corporations. When the crisis started, however, all the larger stores packed up and left, avoiding the troubles.

and her family kept the business open, catering to the panicking townsfolk as they scrambled to buy up any supplies they thought they needed. When the rush was over,

Mrs. Arlette

didn't have much left to sell. Determined to continue helping the town, she packaged up her remaining items and began sending them to people each night, hoping to assist with the crisis. Tonight she was out delivering yet another package to a nearby resident. Upon returning to her store, she noticed a sign posted on the front door. When she reached the sign,

couldn't believe her eyes. It was a notice of foreclosure! "Who would do this to me?" she exclaimed, dropping her bags to the ground. "Ah, that would be me, ma'am." A dark figure stepped around the corner of the store. His hands were clasped behind his back as he strolled towards

asked indignantly. "Why, I mean for you to cease being a nuisance to my plans, that's what." And with that, the stranger pulled a silenced pistol forward from behind his back and shot her twice in the head. He pulls a lighter from his pocket, lighting a soaked rag. Tossing it in through the window, he watches the flames begin to grow. "There, that oughta close you down for good." The man faded back into the darkness, the pool of blood glistening in the firelight behind him.

loved animals. He grew up on a farm, surrounded by dogs, horses, livestock, and many more creatures. When he went to college, his area of study was an easy choice. To become a veterinarian would fulfill all of his life's wishes, allowing him to be work with animals of all species and help keep them healthy. When the recent troubles started, however, he applied his skills to helping people who might get hurt in the town, since many of the overpaid doctors in the city had fled or been killed by the horrible criminals that were wreaking havoc on Indecision. Tonight, everything seemed to be quiet, and

was savoring a quite enjoyable night alone with his wife. When a knock sounded at his door, he reluctantly left her embrace to answer it, grabbing his medical kit along the way. When he opened the door, he was surprised to see a man in a very expensive looking suit, followed by what looked to be a retainer of sorts. "May I help you? Please come in."

Mr. Shelby

gestured inside, and the man entered the house. "Yes, I believe you can indeed help me. Stephen, if you would." The man waved his hand vaguely in the direction of his retainer, who sprang into action. Unsheathing a deadly looking rapier, he stabbed

through the heart, instantly killing him. "Honey, who is it?"

Mrs. Shelby

peered around the top of the stairs, holding her bath robe tightly around her body. Upon seeing

body, she gathered herself to let out a bloodcurdling scream, then found that she couldn't make a sound. Stephen had sprung up the stairs, pressing the tip of his rapier against her throat. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," the man said from downstairs. "Unfortunately, now that you've seen us, I can't leave you behind to spoil my plans." He gestured again with his hand and turned to leave.

tumbled down the stairs, her robe coming open to reveal the wet blood spilling out over her naked body. Stephen wiped his sword off on

jacket and left the house, closing the door behind him. "Well, 'tis a shame there was collateral damage, but she should've known better than to interfere with me." The man climbed into the back of his car, instructing Stephen to drive off into the night.

Though some people still have reservations about Vaughn, soon the town unites to put rajr on the hangman's noose. As they are preparing to hang him, rajr gathers himself to leap from the chair. However, Glork steps up behind him and gives him a shove, send him off into the other world. Upon further inspection of his belongings, you all deiscover that rajr was none other than

Being able to relate to much of the goings-on of the show, she was highly engrossed in the plot when a single bullet came through her window, boring into her brain. It caused instant brain death, ceasing all electrical activity in her brain as she slumped to the side, dead.

Percival Macey walked the town with his bodyguards, cape swishing behind him. He would eventually gain power in this town, he knew that. Percival stopped as a Storm Silas came walking towards him on the sidewalk, studying the surrounding area. At a motion from his hand, the bodyguards surrounded the man and brought him to Macey, struggling. When Storm saw the cape and elegantly carved cane, his eyes widened. "Lord Macey, it was you!" He exclaimed, still struggling to free himself. "I thought we had gotten rid of you! Why are you here?" Percival laughed softly, placing his cane under Silas's chin, lifting his head up. "Because, my dear Storm, I intend to retake my place leading this town." He ripped the badge off the man's chest, studying it intensely. "People like you are merely a nuisance." Macey pressed a button on the handle of his cane, and a blade shot out the end of the cane, taking Storm in the throat.

Percival removed his cane from the body and wiped off the blade as blood spilled out onto the ground. With another motion of his hands, the bodyguards moved to contain the blood away from his spotless shoes. Suddenly, a rifle shot rang out, and Lord Macey staggered back into a bodyguard, clutching his chest. Another shot took him in the leg, and he fell to the ground, bleeding.

Samantha Rain took careful aim from the bushes down the street. She couldn't believe that someone like Percival Macey was going around killing people, but she had rectified that. The first two shots had rendered him immobile and nearly dead, but she wanted to make sure the job got finished. As her crosshairs settled on his figure, Ms. Rain pulled the trigger, taking him right in the forehead. Macey's guards pulled out weapons and searched the area, but she was long gone.

As always, Samantha went down to the local bar after killing someone, to drink away the pain. She hated this, but it had to be done. She had liked her time as mayor, but now it was back to the old job, eliminating those who could be a threat to the town. As she sat down at the bar, a familiar face brought over a pair of drinks. "Thanks a lot, Nick. I could use a good stiff one." Samantha took a long swig, draining the glass. The drink tasted...odd. She turned to the man who had brought her the drink, but he was gone. Suddenly she didn't feel so well. Samantha stood up, trying to make her way to the door, but she collapsed after a few steps, dead.

"Oh, sorry about that. I dazed off." Valentino looked around at the crowd, sensing the hostility towards him. "You want to know who I am? I'm the last doctor you've got. The rest are all dead. I'm running the clinic by myself now." Al_kohaulec spoke up quickly, denouncing him. "You're lying, I went to the clinic and there's no one there, so I took up the job in their stead! You definitely aren't a doctor!" The angry town quickly grabbed Mr. Codie and strung him up, only thinking to search him after he was dead. Working together with the County Sheriff, Ms. Bethney received the results of the investigations conducted by the remaining officers. Tonight she was waiting for such a report, sitting in her home on the outskirts of town. Her doorbell rang, and Joslyn went to answer it, but no one was at the door. As she turned to go back into her house, a bottle came crashing down over her head, dropping her to the floor. A few quick jabs from the glass shards ensured that she wouldn't be getting up again, and her assailant wandered down the street while her blood spread across the floor.

MECHANICS:

- Mafia do not know who their partners are.
- All roles (except inventor, parasite, SKs, and result receivers) were members of a committee. When people sent in choices, whoever received the most choices was the person that was targetted. If the spread was such that each player picked a different person, the choice was determined randomly. If any other tie was acheived, multiple people would be targeted. This was a modnote that I did not tell the players, though I did expect them to reason this out, since if I let there be 4 different choices a night, the game would get pretty ridiculous and out of control.
- Cop Result Receivers would receive result from any cop, based on the committee determination
- Mayors counted as sending in a "no target" choice each night, and could possibly be selected from among the available choices.

- I apologize for not mentioning the endgame mayor situation earlier. I think that potentially fucked up the game, although I was surprised that Olio followed Alko in lynching MBL even after I reset the vote count. I had thought I mentioned this rule in the beginning, and the only person to ask me about it was Alko, so I figured he was just asking since it would be easier than searching the thread. I hadn't realized this wasn't ever actually stated.

- I also apologize for revealing TSQ's role on accident when I modkilled him. I've been ill for a couple weeks now, and I wasn't really paying attention when I did it.

Mafia had it rough, then again, town had it almost as bad considering how much scum groups existed. 10? Although, almost every single scum had a solid tell and that was keeping the myth of a cult alive.

But really, bad, bad town. I did a lot of work for you guys and of all the unconfirmeds, I never once mentioned MBL as being scum because I knew he had already been investigated (Yaw had a tell in D2 when he talked about lynching a lurker, but not someone absent who might be at burning man). But all other unconfirmeds, Nightson and alko were scum. al_ko was even one of my original top 3 suspects after the mass cop claim. Plus, didn't we already establish in D1 that there was no back-up committee/role after slaking_master claimed it? Argh.

Maybe I should've confirmed all my results with Yaw or announced them, because I was wrong on the cop set-up, but I think even I still had the first three investigations, so I don't think it was a wrong hypothesis.

But still, at one point (D4) we were 1 receiver, 3 cops, 1 vig, 1 doc, 3 RBs vs. 2 SKs, 3 mafia A, 1 mafia B even after a good lynch/vig record, I think there were just too many scum in this setup.

Then again, There were 6/7 lynches on scum and town still lost. I think that sucks. Furthermore, vigs correctly targetted 2 scum as well (including the unlynchable SK!).

There were 10 scum out of 30 people, 1/3 of the game. I feel that's pretty balanced when the scum are handicapped by not knowing who their partners are. I'm relatively satisfied with the setup balance-wise, since we did get down to two people alive in endgame. That's pretty optimal, in my opinion.

I do agree that it would be nice to find a way to avoid the randomness, since I hadn't expected that to mess people up so much, although it messed up both scum and town, so at least it wasn't biased.

It was as much up to the scum to figure out who was scum and NOT kill them as it was to the town to find and kill them. While there was not necessarily an informed minority, I still feel that the game employed the basic principles that most games require of players.

To be fair, TSQ claimed to have blocked MBL on Night 6, not Night 7. He didn't claim a Night 7 block, and he was modkilled before he had that chance.

Thanks. I think the crash kinda killed activity and it would've gone better without the crashes, but that was also a busy time in RL for me, so I'm almost glad we sat in night throughout the crash. At least we didn't lose any discussion.

Yea, people acting stupid (i.e. Max and those who got modkilled) really didn't help out the town any. Max said he didn't know what an inventor is even though the role pm should've been fairly clear, and it was in the wiki to boot (even though Max said it wasn't).
