Hold up a second.

I'm already more than a little irritated that this is turning into lord of the flies and chess apparently was already lynched which is stupid on every level in the universe.

Dont use the bounty of lynches for lol policy lynches. Use them for real policy lynches. We dont need anarchy we need an iron fist which will win the game in the later rounds.

With that my proposal for the forseeable future is simple and direct:

1.) White noise posts? Death. I dont care if its one liners or giant useless quotewalls.

If your post doesn't directly advance the gamestate, don't make it.

2.) Lurkers? Death. Once things balance out if you're below the mod line unquestionably dead. Otherwise I'm all for using a portion of the lynches on active lurkers every cycle.

Force the scum to actually outwit us to win. Not just dodge bullets.

Ice is a Mime. Johhog is a Mime. Milk is probably a mime (but needs to die regardless).
Rhinox is town. Agar is probably town. Amrun is town. MattP is town. Chevre is town.
Don't like the Hoop/Fritz back and forth but thats gut. TML can die.

Mime threat is dependent on the above. That's gotta be dealt with because you can all but guarantee every real lynch is gonna have at least one BUT A MIMEEEE derailing it later.

I'm not sure what Elmo's up to with his pingpong but its enough that I would push that wagon through today.

No, I'm not masons with T-Bone. I dont have to be. T-Bone isn't even my strongest town read.

However, that doesn't change the fact I'm pretty sure he's town and he's been tryin shortgame a LOT harder than I have. Further, the committal on MY wagon which is getting a lot more firm stances is a damn good thing - like I've said the Hoopla-Fritz business is amazingly sketch and knowing myself well enough that with this many players who aren't willing to firmly and adamantly stop the bad business early I'm going to be damn near worthless until mid/end game.

Is lynching me a good idea? Of course not. That doesn't change the fact there's more to be got out of it than T-Bones right now - there are way too many wolves clamoring abouts it.

I'm still unabashedly saying there needs to be purging with fire. You've got your powerlukring group that is truly phenomenal and, at current rate, would take MULTIPLE DAYS OF MULTIPLE LYNCHES TO FIX.

CC calling out below him in a multilynch day and not immediately becoming slag is ridiculous. Mind you, the fact there are people lower than 3 is also ridiculous.

HOWEVER, before you do let me do the full VCA and give my opinions on the chunk of this game that opinions can be actually given on. I'll actually TRY to give a little bit on everyone but farrtttt.

More importantly, since it fell apart immediately which is why I'm fine dying, FORM A CONSENSUS AMONGST YOURSELF AND BURN THROUGH SOME LYNCHES FAST. This game size, low NK's and the fact we control the majority of kills means that there is absolutely no reason STILL for the rampant lurking and noiseposting. Apathy is going to eat this game if it doesn't become immediately clear that apathy = death.

I will fufill my part of the bargain tonight. I'll probably just use myko's VC's instead of the armada. Of course, I expect them to actually get fine tooth combed so that if there's mistakes they get caught.

I'm not doing in-depth analysis on them right now. D1 is an interesting mix on the early days and cross reference that later.

I can't believe I'm going to attempt this but heeere we go after reading ALL THE ISOS and taking time to say at least something where relevant:

NOW is the point in the game when that death pile needs to be dealt with - while lynches are still cheap and plentiful. If I was the robot overlord controlling the votes at least half the lynches would go to directly that each day until its gone and real business can start.

Aside from that there is more than enough town reads to flat out

control the wagons

. Pick targets and wipe it clean. Midgame needs to move hard and fast and clear out the chaff to get down to serious business.

This Chevre wagon is space bad and I while I'd love to say I was flabbergasted I'm not. Wolves circling again and those particular wolves doesn't surprise me. BUT I DO NOT WANT THAT GOING THROUGH.

So, here's the deal and I am flat out gangster serious because I'm not going down for a kill list read:

I want this lynch to be either me or Hoopla. Period. However, I'm not voting. This is 100% external.
FURTHER, if you dont lynch me, right or wrong, you are saying "SpyreX you are confirmed town and only scum would vote for you" and I damn well will OMGUS vote any damn one who does it.
DOUBLE FURTHER, if you dont lynch either of us I will literally just throw hammers down on anyone for the rest of the game and that will be the absolute extent of my contribution.

So, there you go. You have every reason to lynch me BUT IF YOU DONT then lets pull this onto the fast track to awesome.
And, if you do, please at least pay attention to the gargantuan amount of words. VCA with this being non-majority and multilynch isn't as useful now as normal but its still something. Enterprising young bucks can, more importantly, inspect the wagons that ran up and then DIDNT result in a lynch because early game here that's gonna be more telling on the why they didn't.

The lurkers go not because they are all scum (although I bet hard on scum being there in large amounts) - lurkers go because they become indistinguishable town or scum and they lose endgames. NORMALLY you cant purge en masse because of lynch mechanics and size, etc etc but HERE?

You can't have the same ratio here - at least of a single group. Of 50 you're looking at 12 - 17 (25% - 33%) which at MINIMUM would be enough to control lynches from start. Especially if you consider the fact the mimes were not town AND they would be an easy win at surprise lylo if the group held out for any length of time.

If there is multiple groups chances become higher that you'll see the spread of scum with the floaters and the sinkers and every lurker removal forces activity when it gets to the point of an active controlled game.

Because if that's your logic with the mimes we're at 12 deaths with no scum. Do you think its actually hopeless?

More to the point: its fake. Or, its being actively doctored. Its not an accident how much his recent play mirrors Amrun (who isn't getting lynched because ???) even though she got run up with more than a touch of lowman (who is sacrosanct for emovoting and vanishing).

I already tried a quicklynch push with killing off the T-Bone wagon to try and beat scum to the punch. But it didn't seem to be profitable (at least so far) with Luffy's mislynch. I think pushing quicklynches only helps scum get to night phase quicker and get easy mislynches, and gives us less content (even though there is already fuckloads, I'm talking about VALUABLE content) for later game.

I'm not sure your reasoning on why drawing out the game makes town's chances worse; the only reason I can see was my reasoning about mafia beating us to the lynches, but at this point I can't tell which wagons are scumdriven, which are not, and which might be scumdriven bussers. It's all a sea of dodgy logic from most players at this point; deals, accusations with little reasoning, hastiness to lynch whoever, 'this guy is town fuck you', 'he is so scum hurry up and lynch already' comments from nearly everyone; not much scumhunting going on at all. That sort of activity reads to me as scum, and if I was to go by those reads, I am getting scum reads on 95% of the players.

Basically put, I feel helpless at this stage - no one seems worth defending, and no one stands out enough to seem worth lynching. I still need to do a shitload of reading.

If you are getting scum reads on 95% of the players and you are town you are being lazy. Period.
However, the jury is still out on that and I get twitchy every post.

Having the ability to dodge A wagon would be one that made sense for scum in this game. Multiple sure wouldn't.

Of course, the easiest way to "test" this is to run up DW and see if his compatriots deflect his lynch. That'd lend some serious credence to town angels.

As for the NK's:

Now this is the grossest kind of meta but: imagine, Rhinox and SL point at someone mafia side being an older player AND still being around. Imagine was town enough but unless they're playing avoid the doc (which in this setup would be damn near broken) these kills fluctuate really, really weird - there SHOULD have been a shot on DW because, at the minimum, it opens up the "I'm an angel totally" angle later.

SL makes no sense in the greater scheme. A PR left and "if I am scum I have won" peta still alive after Matt gets PR slit AND amrun gets tanked?

Really as stupid as it is the first thing that comes to mind is I'm being quasi setup because I cant think of many other scenarios (Kondi maaybe) where the kills make sense at all.

And with this game having a gamut up top, wasting them is even odder.

Realistically (and note I'm not screaming LET THE ANGELS FREE right now) lynching him again should be all upside:

If a redirect happens it isn't wasting a lynch as it can just be pointed at, ohh, funkybike and then we can trust the angels.
If a redirect doesn't happen he's scum and its a dead scum.

IF its scenario 1 then depending on their size and if they are confirmed or not it may be worth them coming out to cut the pool even more and turn this into a race that scum just cant win.

IF its scenario 2 all the yelling in the world isn't going to get him to cough up a buddy so that's wasted time.

The only BAD scenario is running him up, it being true and him taking a special ed shot. If that happens, and keep in mind I'm saying town, I'm firmly in favor of running him up over and over and over and over again until there's no more redirects.

And then doing it one last time.
