zdenek is not scum. a scum flying under radar won't attack a player like him.

manho, an easy start would be to ISO the top wagons (Lowman, Luffy and BB (on second thoughts, BB might take awhile )) and see if any of them appear scummy.

i agree that this post is forceful and over-justifying. and this line is the worst. only scum need to rationalize his vote to this extent.

So let me get this straight... Scumtells now are people who justify why they are voting, but people that just jump on wagons and vote willy nilly are town?

the word "over" in "over-justify" is important. jumping on wagons with reasons or with the belief that the lynchee is scum is ok. reasons explicitly stated is not always necessary. chevre's motivation is try not to be accused of voting without reason.

my theory is that town only need to justify a vote to himself, so voting without giving reasons is fine. however, you are more likely to be accused for that, or at least be asked why you vote. that may get you under scum-radar and you risk being lynched. that's why people vote and state his reason, ie. justify a vote. scum don't want to risk being lynched or being under scum-radar, so they want to justify their votes more than town. and therefore they are more likely to over-justify a vote. it happens more frequently when casting the last few vote, like chevre's vote at L-3.

the above is more theory than scum-hunting though.
