The issue with this plan is that although gnome (or some random person, or whatever) won't get killed by UT, the mafia can still hit whoever they want. I feel that UT and gnome have been willing enough to find a plan that works for the town. Unless they're REALLY good mafiosos, they probably aren't lying.

Instead of focusing so hard on how to prove hobbes and dad are really hobbes and dad, shouldn't we be finding out who the mafia actually is? Then maybe the parents and hobbes wouldn't have to waste a night choice, and could try hitting the mafia instead?

I'm not saying "hey everyone go vote no lynch now." We should definately discuss more before going to night. I only meant to put forward that I don't have any ideas. I didn't mean to start a ruckus.

Plus, anyone who's played a game with me where I've been mafia can say that I'm not a complete idiot. A) I wouldn't be the first to vote no lynch if I were mafia. B) My fellow mafia members would probably also vote no lynch immediately, so as not to get me lynched. If 3 (or 4 or 5, however many aliens there are) all voted no lynch at the same time, people would be more likely to follow that bandwagon. It's basic mafia 101.

Zoneace: as much as I wish you were right, you know the 1 or 2 people you're talking about are just giong to vote for me within the next 24 hours. Why wait? That's another thing I learned in mafia 101. Once you are halfway to being lynched, the bandwagoners will not stop for any defense other than a roleclaim. That's why the "townie and mafia only" generic games are so much fun. People really have to think.

Anywho, I'm a calvin clone. The "information" in the role that has been argued so much (though I'm not sure why...) is right in the role description. Nothing special, just "The teachers are aliens!! Come help find the aliens!!" Of course, that was paraphrased, but I think it's close enough that the rest of the calvin clones know what I'm talking about.

Look, as far as Hobbes and/or the calvin clones working against Calvin, that's completely ridiculous. EVERYONE was against Calvin in the comic books. Hobbes always pounced him, the parents were always unfairly harsh, the calvin clones repeatedly got him in trouble, Moe beat him up, and the teachers made him work. However, I think it's safe to say that only the last two are actually evil. Maybe (while we're working up crazy game theories) Calvin is the sole evil in this game, and everybody else is trying to kill him?

I know I've been kinda out of it this game, but I just don't know what to think. It seems that we've had so many roleclaims that half the town is already on the "we know they're good" list. Might as well just pick someone random off the other list and vote for them.

Breakdown: COME ON!! Everyone knows the whole "no lynch = scum" thing. The mafia would have to be really really stupid to vote no lynch for the purposes of getting an extra night kill in. No one's tried that move since 1972! People only vote no-lynch if they actually feel that a no-lynch will be helpful to the town. After all, we have no real leads, and there's gotta be a cop around here somewhere.

Aw, sh*t. I just realized I did something really really really stupid.

I tried to make a "haunt" post and say something witty, but I screwed it up bad. I meant to quote Polarboy's last post, but I hit "edit" (I have mod powers currently) instead of "quote" and accidentally changed his post. In case anyone was wondering why he would say something that stupid. He wouldn't. I'm the only person on the face of the planet who would do something that stupid.

I'm *sort of* saved because I screwed it up after the final vote was cast anyways, but that doesn't make it right and I'm very, very sorry. I'm never going to make a stupid haunt post ever again. That could have been a million times worse. I won't blame anyone (especially Polarboy or mlaker) if you request that I be banned. Honestly, I already considered running away and never coming back to 'scum ever again.

Unfortunately, I did this last night (after nanook made the final vote but before mlaker made the official count) and didn't see what I had done until just now, so I don't remember the exact content of his post. If I did I would change it back and forget this ever happened. I do know that it contained the line "I just don't care. I lost interest in this game a long time ago when everybody got replaced and I don't even know who you people are. It's like I got teleported into another mafia game." Most of the post continued along those lines, but I feel like he also may have said something important and that I screwed up the game big time. Whether it's true or not, I feel incredibly lame.

If there's some sort of log that we could use to fix it, that would make me feel less like an idiot and you guys would still be able to see his post. Otherwise, just understand that I am truly, truly sorry, and I am now going to crawl under a rock before I embaress myself any more.
