Actually, I think sitting on cash is what maffia is going to do. If they have more money than the rest of the town, they can juat outbuy them. FOS: Himab

Well, I think we should only use 5$ everyone to vote. So if someone then saves someone else close to deadline without a good reason, we caught 2 scums.

Set a standard payment of 5$ per vote per person to preserve cash. So anybody is only allowed to vote with 5 dollars on a person, that way, we will have always outnumber, and thus, be able to outpay scum. So it does not matter much if you have a lot of money and are scum, because if you pay more than allowed, we outpay you instantly. That way we only have to watch out for people with more than 50% of total cash.

Alternatively we could force everyone to spend all money. That way its sure everyone gets 50 at the beginning-> scum never gets more than town.

I'm willing to take a stand on this issue

Ok, lets go into this.
Stoofer claimed doc. If he is still alive tomorrow, we lynch him.

Possible outcomes:
1. stoof is scum. we lynch scum on day 2.
2 stoof is not scum. he either gets killed at night, or if he survives, we lynch him->just as well as lynching him on day 1, except he might have given a protection to a player.

We lynch him right now
3. he is scum, we lynched scum day 1
4. he is doc, and no protection in the night

Id say 1 and 3 are not too much difference. but in case of 2 and 4 we clearly should favor 2.
Ergo, strategy 1 is always better than stragtegy 2, no matter what.

Your relentless attack on him makes me uneasy. Why are you so sure he is scum? I get a gambit-feeling out of your play.

Huh? you are making assumptions. lynching someone else day 1 does not mean lynching town day 1. We have a whole day to decuide who to string up right now. The possible night info is indifferent to this. If a cop comes up with a guilty, while the claimed doc survives, we clearly should go for the proven guilty, and lynch the doc/scum next day. the possible night info is not going to go away, you know. Also, the possible night info might clear the claimed doc.

The mere chance of stoofer beeing real should frighten you off. I guess its your call, but I still think you are far more likely scum than Stoofer. And even if Stoofer turns up scum, the fact that you are not afraid to lose a doc points to a possible gambit-play from you and stoofer.

really think he's the Doctor. No one has yet to dispute this,
Yesterday I was struck with the idea that CES might be our doc, and that is the reason for his relentless attack. Confirmation or refutation of this might be a discussable idea.

But CES is suspicious himself. I would pay him were I not afraid he is the real doc. I guess we can drop the CES/Stoofer case for now, tough, and concentrate elsewhere.

The town is better off with most of the money being in the hands of myself and Nightcow.
Lets make sure Nightcow has more than you, possible GF. Just to be on the safe side. And I agree on the BJ/tss cashburning excercise.
