I signed up for this game for the anonymity provided by being in a hydra. If you're going to force a headclaim, you're basically destroying my main reason for joining this game.
Aside from that, identifying townies and then lynching everyone else is a terrible way to scumhunt.

Identifying townies is an important part of scumhunting IMO. However, I accept the first part.
This head is a schizo at talking about meta. One head seems to love meta (I think...), while the other one (this one) doesn't like to use it as argument, as it might be used as excuse to pass off poor play as meta. That is annoying, and useless.
@T&J: If you do have more than one navigator, you can use one to log in as the hydra, other to log in as yourself. That's what I'm doing.

2. neither. I've seen a very strong counterexample to LaLiars before. LaLurkers is just too risky; you get way too little info from lurkers.

What made you so confident in your vote right off the bat?

I've actually been following along with this game for a bit, and had some opinions formed before officially replacing in here. Sorry if it came off as abrupt, but sometimes that's how I work.

Pity that pacman isn't here to answer my questions, but I don't suppose you could give a heads-up to Ellibereth to explain the contradiction on meta stances, could you? Or did you get a sneak peek into the QT? Surely they've discussed who was posting what there.

There's nothing in the QT about swapping stances on meta. There was specific discussion about attempting to get reactions from the fake-name-claimee (Lat). I see where you're coming from about Elli's back-and-forth on name-claim in thread, but all I can say is that it's Elli. I am of the opinion that it can only help town to know who I am, which is why I name-claimed in my intro post.

Oh, and one last thing. What do you think of Bowser?

The random vote, legit FoS at the start was horrible, no doubt. And then there was lurking. But since Untrod started posting in earnest, I don't see any major issues. I'm willing to give some slack for the replacement. Also, a Pineapple flip (Pineapple turnover?) would provide more info here.

So, there's nothing at all in the hydra QT between Oct 20 and Oct 30. (The MrSmith-PP butting heads stuff in thread was on Oct 24.) Elli and pacman seemed to be serially inactive. I'm not sure I can provide anything interesting for you on that account. But that won't be happening moving forward.

As for me, based on my current read (and MrSmith isn't one of those I've completed an iso on) and gut, they're in my "mild scum" pile. With two days to deadline, I would not be all that interested in a wagon here today.

I second this. There is way too much stalling of giving reads and reasons for reads in this game. Pretty unacceptable.

I find it suspicious that Mr.Smith didn't comment on Bowser despite the fact that if he was town, he would be almost confirmed that Bowser is scum.

Right after the hammer, I had to run off to class, then pack for my Thanksgiving trip. We missed Bowser's "in before lynch lock" claim pre-N2. Having targeted Crab N1, we wanted to Watch the non-Crab person most likely to get night-killed by our proposed scumteam Faranor/IceCream/MrSmith, which was T&J. Upon review for Watch targets over N3, we found Bowser's Tracker claim and Watched him (and were RBed in the process).

As for the answer to MasterSpy's original question inside the nest, the in-hydra discussion of "reactions" had to do with paying attention to when Lat was online, seeing if he responded right away or "went to discuss with hydra buddiez", among other things. Anything else is direct question for Elli, so I can't answer.

IceCream member who wrote posts 671 and 673, have you ever been in a game with a Tracker before? You are not cleared.

I didn't backtrack on my stance. I knew or think, whatever, that it was better for town to have it openly available who was in what hydra...but i thought it'd be more fun to screw around and that it wouldn't hurt.
