@NeroCain: I just felt like it, because there are apparently bigger LOTR nerds than me here. Plus that I feel very...different from everyone else here because I prefer the movies. IMO the books had some extra, less plot-related stuff that was in there mostly for mythology (ie Tom Bombadil) that the movies made the right call to cut out. I also am not the greatest fan of Tolien's writing style, which is more difficult to read than Shakespeare (The Silmarillion, I'm looking at you!)

Fine, I'll come out and be honest right now:

I semi-lurk during Day 1 in most games I play, especially large ones. Day 1 gives a lot of material, but in hindsight, not as it goes. Add that whenever I stick my neck out D1 it gets lopped off. As a result, I often end up ignoring everyone except those who attack or address me directly, and then start going crazy with my reads D2 onward.

Okay, looking over ME's ISO I don't find anything particularly scummy at the moment other than his vote for gandalf, which is baseless. Is meta the only thing you have on him?

Also, someone earlier told me to take a look at the games in which I was quickly mislynch as town, and I don't even need to look to know the process:

1. Someone nitpicks one of my early posts, using strawman to make it look like my word choice is scummy
2. Town immediately beings piling onto the wagon.

It's happened to me in multiple games simultaneously before, so I know the damn process.

If you want to find the games in question, find them yourself, which should be easy considering as least one of your heads was in most of them. If you aren't willing to look for them yourself, don't call me scum for not doing it for you.

WierdRa's play is off. I've played a couple-three games with AGar and I know him as a very good, very sensible scumhunter. So good that he was able to seem completely believable town for an entire game. Yet he is utterly convinced LMP is scum. LMP is one of the more sensible townies here, so I don't understand what flashes red for him. He has failed to explain it.

I do not like InHim's play. He has been throwing around accusations with little to nothing to back them up, then fluff-posted and lurked.

My opinion of Katy has changed. She may have few posts but the few she has are detailed and (mostly) well thought out. She has clearly outlined her suspicions, unlike a lot of other players here.

Right now, Katsuki and InHim are at the top of my own scum list, with Edge following. All have been throwing out accusations without or with little evidence or reasoning. Edge has already admitted his push against me was random.

I'm really, really not liking Katsuki's play. This is the fourth or fifth time I've asked him to explain his suspicion of VV from earlier and he constantly avoided the question. He also switched his vote to gandalf at the drop of a hat, although for justifiable reasons, but he has totally dropped any suspicion of anyone else, most notably me. I find it strange that, after pushing so hard to get me lynched, he suddenly goes all out on gandalf. His recent post style strikes as him trying to blend in using Fate's playstyle.

Not even full claiming. What was the point in you bread crumbing us to your role, which the town may not have noticed, instead of just name-claiming.
Either way town knows your role name.

Because, if I'd flat-out named-claimed, there would have been more likelihood of the town just saying "oh he's fakeclaiming scum." In my experience, scum don't usually plan more than ten minutes ahead. It's usually town who bother breadcrumbing (although I've experienced an exception recently...)

I'm fullclaiming, since I'm not vital but at the same time a top suspect:

I'm Denethor, as you know. I'm "officially" a VT but I would call myself an "Anonymous Mason." I have the Minas Tirith palantir and communicate with the Minas Ithil and Orthanc palantirs durings the night (both of which have been held by scum all game AFAIK). I do not know who the scum are, because we communicate using palantir names only.

Zwet had the Orthanc palantir, it passed to someone on his wagon when he was lynched, I believe. Last night Saruman (SlySly) heavily implied he had the Minas Ithil palantir. I believe the Witch-King has that palantir now.

My guess as to the characters of the remaining Mordor team: Witch-King and (that one goblin from Cirith Ungol I forgot the name of starts with a "G")

This is a stretch and might put some bad attention on me but my bet is, if anything, Death Miller.

Saruman was corrupted by his desire for the One Ring. He communicated with Mordor (which had siezed the Minas Ithil palantir) via the Orthanc palantir. Sauron had him build a huge army of Uruk-Hai, and Saruman would use that army to crush Rohan.

I stopped believing this was my fault after the town started asking me questions I'd already answered and called me a liar for answering. I got lynched because your confirmation bias couldn't accept that I wasn't lying, but had been lied to.

Did I not tell you I wasn't lying? The town followed up with insults and accusations. Funny thing is, the only confirmed townie didn't believe I was scum, and even refused to hammer. You didn't listen to her.

It's funny to watch this. He fakeclaims (twice), then believes I'm surely scum, and when I'm not, immediately rails against everybody who followed him onto a horribad wagon. He already knows I'm going to flip town, because if he didn't, he wouldn't be throwing around accusations so much.

And NC, if you want to talk about active lurking, you have three players still alive who are MUCH worse lurkers than I ever was - LL, Dekes, and jenniwren.

On gameplay, I think the palantiri need to be changed up or removed entirely. I tried to start conversation a couple night, but because they were both held by a scumteam nobody wanted to talk, until RC started screwing with me.

I was mostly confused and just trying to stay alive most of the game. The D4 lynch should not have happened, and it was the town being stupid. I did have some really retarded moments (Death Miller speculation, bleh) but it seemed like the whole town, ESPECIALLY Fate, was purposely ignoring things just to get me lynched. If Edge knew I wasn't lying about anything in the palantir QT, he shouldn't have accused me of that. And then there's the disgraceful BS lynching me after I cooperated to the best of my ability while Dekes just lurked through the day.

NC gave me shit in another thread about how I "gave up" near the end, which is true, because I'd exhausted everything I could have possibly said in my own defense and it had all been thrown back in my face as "lies." I don't deserve 100% blame for that debacle.
