I knowI would never, ever post anything like that in any game. Except as noob scum believing in the mystical power of WIFOM and wanted to hit the ground running in my first post.
Do you're scum. With xvart.

Why don't you explain why it's a bad thing scum do? Did I misunderstand your comment about "a certain subset of players who can talk to each other at night"?SpyreX wrote:I wanted to know what rationale you had because making any reference to a breadcrumb at this stage is one of those "If I had a daykill I'd sure be greasing the barrel" kind of statements and, silly me, I opted to let you try to explain how that was a GOOD THING or, really, even A NULL THING versus A BAD THING SCUM DO.-

Yes. Xofelf pretty clearly said "Exceptin the past games i've played with them". So Sens with his "more importantly" is off base.
Although I can see how you would read it the wrong way, because if you start at the beginning "But whoever...", it isn't as clear how "Except" is being used. Sometimes people say except instead of "but". But for that to be the case she would need to have said "Exceptthat".
So yeah, that's a pointless little semantics argument.-

a) how does expressing suspicion = just a bit of rhetoricCyberbob wrote:Neither were there signs of Kmd's comment being sarcastic to someone who didn't spot the connection with xvart, but it was.
I was expressing suspicion at how you might have gotten the idea that it was specifically acopbreadcrumb. I was not asking for you to actually show it to me.
b) why were you suspicious about it being a cop breadcrumb specifically? Aren't breadcrumbs usually specific? Do people breadcrumb "as yet unnamed power role"?-

No, we killed him night 1.Xvart wrote:Was there a time when Cobalt started posting something other votes? Did he come out of his shell later in the game? Was he helpful and achieving the town win condition?
No not in the slightest. That wasn't the point.Xvart wrote:You're surprised that no one joins in your suspicion of someone being scum based on how rude he is?
Well, a) I fully support policy lynching people for being rude and b) as was discussed in theXvart wrote:What are the "among other things?" You felt it was only important to mention the rudeness but not the other things?several posts on the preceding page leading up to my CyberBob voteI didn't like how he tried to jump to "it was a bit of rhetoric" when I asked him what was up with that post. Of course he wasn't asking me to point the supposed breadcrumb out, I wanted to know how he came up with cop-word specifically. I still don't know what he meant by that. I feel his whole reaction to a "What?" post and the follow ups sounds a bit like scum worried that he's going to get jumped on. I haven't decided whether the rudeness is a bit tactical.
All in all it's rather weak, but it's only page 12 and there hasn't been much useful posting this game.-

Hello Papa, I think your are misunderstanding Jack's intention with that post. ISO CKD and tell me what you see. Same for Steam powered. I would peg both of them as opportunistic.Papa Zito wrote: A random cop breadcrumb (if that's even what it was) is null. I would say all the people talking about it are worse than the one who did it.
Lack of content, however, is true, and I agree that it's scummy. Also his reaction to a sudden wagon on him ("What, you don't find Cyberbob scummy?") was lulz.
CKD abandoned her third post of the day and only serious case with a weaksauce "I've been back and forth on Jack...that last vote though...". I think in Jack's opinion the vote is fairly obvious given the context of the discussion the previous day. CKD, what made you go back and forth previously?
Steam powered said he didn't think Jack's cop breadcrumb (or whatever it was) was scummy earlier but votes Jack for being "deliberately unhelpful"-->which isn't really a fair accusation imo, CKD would be a better target.
SpyreX seems to be ticked off for some reason, but that's another story I guess.-

Read your own ISO Herr SpyreX. In what "reality" (to use your phrase) is it normal to make a few RVS posts and then focus in on one other player out of...annoyance<--??-

I think this game might be a record for most words without anything worthwhile coming out of it. But then I guess a lot of the big games are like that, pyp II being the exception of course. But I think the other two I was in were like this. If we aren't going to policy lynch CyberBob we should just lynch CKD and get to day 2. Except not actually, just act like we will to move things along a bit.-

Ok so spyreX, besides me and SPS, who do you find suspicious?
I think xvart has been very scummy.
I agree with this. And that's one reason why it's acceptable to policy lynch people for being rude btw.SocioPath wrote:All I know is if either of them actually replace out of the game, those that pushed them based on reasons they specifically said not to, I will go on a warpath towards those that caused such.

I checked one of xvart's other games (over) but got bored partway through reading his ISO which I'll take as a sign that I should be paying attention to someone else.
I'm getting a good feeling about Elscouta as scum.unvote, vote:Elscouta
Don't feel like talking about everything from his ISO, but the silly fakey reasoning for having "bad vibes" about Iec and that last post which sounds more like scum smelling blood than an interested townie. Before he dismissed xolf/sens as a distraction btw.-

So when you said this in response to Budja when he commented on that "see if Budja jumps on it" quote:xvart wrote:
It was more of an observational post, rather than a real "experiment;" regardless, at the time of my post, Budja had already set himself up to jump on the two next largest wagons (Jack and Cyberbob) either by direct statement or FoS's so running up Jack's wagon wouldn't really do anything for my suggested "experiment."curiouskarmadog wrote:
interesting statement...this REALLY is sticking out to me. At this point post (289) Jack has 4 votes. Cobalt just has 2. You express suspicion on Jack in the post with an FOS, but you vote cobalt instead? So why not vote Jack to "run up a wagon" and see if Bud jumps on it?xvart wrote:I would be interested in running up another wagon and see if Budja jumps on it, too.
xvart.
You were basically full of it? i.e. you were clearly accusing him of being wagon happy, but we he called you on that claim you tried to dodge it and accuse him of being defensive.xvart wrote:How did I misrepresent you? I didn't even make a direct comment about you or say Budja does this or Budja does that. A little defensive?-

You evasively claimed that you "hadn't made a direct comment" about him or said "Budja does this or that". But by your own admission you were accusing him of jumping on wagons scummily and for no reason (don't try and claim that you were just matter of factly pointing it out, this is mafia).xvart wrote:
I don't really see what you are trying to say. He didn't respond to my wagon statement other than saying I was misrepresenting him. Furthermore, he didn't "call me" on the content of my post, which you seem to think he did. My response to him was about him claiming I was misrepresenting him, not the wagon comment or him being "wagon happy." I didn't misrepresent him at all. He should know himself that he has been very vocal about liking several wagons, FoS's on all the leading wagons, the temptations of switching wagons, etc. How is me saying I was curious to run up another wagon and see if he was going to get on it misrepresenting anything? Do you think his post in response to mine is a sufficient rebuttal? He didn't refute anything other than saying his vote hasn't moved in ages.Jack wrote:You were basically full of it? i.e. you were clearly accusing him of being wagon happy, but we he called you on that claim you tried to dodge it and accuse him of being defensive.

Arg, this was supposed to be combined with the last.
This is a scummy vote. Townies shouldn't let silly arguments drive their vote even if they "aren't going to go away".SpyreX wrote:Sigh.

Vote: Xoelf
If they want to draw the battle lines this ridiculously then sure.-

In this game and your completed game you checked you weren't heavy on arguments. You said you were a gut player in that game.Steam-Powered Shovel wrote:I don't think xofelf was going to claim before the deadline anyway. I have no problem with kmd's decision.
Drippereth, I find that putting forth arguments tends to help getting the lynches you want. You might want to consider that next time.
You sound most like Parama (scum) from pizzaria, complaining about gut reads on him with nothing else attached.-
