Hi all, replacing in. Not too much to read through, so hopefully I'll be up to date in a short while.
A couple of set-up thoughts:
1) Anyone else get the odd feeling that this game is going to run sort of backwards than usual? As in, finding an appropriate lynch might actually HURT you in the long run....
2) The town really should win this game. Especially if we find one or more failed kills N1. NO ONE is trying to kill the town in this game. I mean, not really.
Okay back to the read.-

vote BM. As good as any other. Call me crazy, but the fact that you accused someone of setting a trap for lazy townies makes no sense. NO ONE wants to trap townies in this game, not even the scum.
This is a dry as hell thread. Read one page read them all.
AlsoFOS DYH, ryanjust for looking scummy. But ryan always looks scummy so I don't know what to make of it.
Also,tornado, and Butteare town.-

I'm still here. Receiving prods in all my games. Will hopefully be able to contribute more in a bit.DYH wrote:
This is where we will get our information, plain and simple.ryan wrote:I realize that Jordan, I'm saying it'll be interesting if they target eachother and how that plays out <snip>.
@Sir Tornado: We simply lynch someone who's not contributing as I've been suggesting all along. Lurker lynch is a fine meta strategy for day 1 here since there's an absence of scum tells in this game setup and no town power roles to worry about killing in error.
Let me add a meta thought here. The reason scum might lurk in this game in particular is they have just as much to fear at night as we do. Being exposed to another scum could be a HUGE disadvantage, especially at end game. The more people we get talking, the more scum are likely to discover each other and help us out in the process.
That said, I dont' have that much opinion of who we kill tonight.-

Yep. You're all dumb. So it goes.
The point I was making is that one of the SKs knows another SK... probably.
So I'm going to suss out who that is, and kill the accused. Then kill the accuser, for he must also be scum. 2/3 dead, town happy.
Note to all: SKs CAN'T KILL EACH OTHER AT NIGHT. So, even by the odd "he confessed" logic, I would have confessed to something that isn't possible.
Further note to all: Call this a metagaming issue, but I dont' really believe in "slips". This isn't live. Folks have as long as they need to reread posts and correct them for incriminating words. The way to find scum is behavior at different points in the game, not by "slip-ups"-

He's just been weirdly prominent in bandwagoning and trying to (IMO) micromanage the town.JordanA24 wrote: Anyway Lowell, why do you suspect Estes?
Also, by my count there are probably 2 SKs out there scared to death that someone knows who they are, and will be a little over-eager to sniff out anyone who looks like a threat.-

Nothing about the nightscene leads me to believe this. I think one targetted another.theopor_COD wrote:And everyone y'know our good friends the serials may well still not have a clue who who's who. Two of em could quite easily targeted MoS or Scope.
Also, math-wise (someone tried this *ahem* poorly, already), it's twice as likely that one targeted another than two targeted the same person.-

Whatever, this doesn't matter. But peopel who are bad at math annoy me (esp when they think they're good at it)
ROUGHLY:
16 players,
SK #1: chance of "repeating" hit on town 0/15
SK #1; chance of hitting another SK 2/15
SK #2: chance of "repeating" hit on SK1's townie 1/15
SK #2: chance of hitting another SK 2/15
SK #3: chance of "repeating" hit on townie 2/15
SK #3: chance of hitting another SK 2/15
It's twice as likely, not 12 times or whatever.
You're bewildering stat was for A CERTAIN TOWNIE, not ANY TOWNIE. It shouldnt' be 1/18 * 1/18 * 1/18, it should be 13/15 (the odds of first hitting townie) *1/15 (SK2 hitting same) * 1/15 (SK 3 hitting same).
Anyway, carry on.-

Well, now at least I don't feel so bad for not konwing what's going on.Estes wrote:Lowell, you're dead buddy.
Haha okay, on second thought, I amend my comments to:
Go Town
Sorry about that. And to all who are in other games with me, I lost my job and my only regular internet connection. So assume flaky Lowell to be the norm for awhile...
