Massclaims only break games with bad setups. Bad setups are never written by competent moderators. Phayt is a competent moderator. Massclaim is a bad plan.
Sig'd.
Unvote, FOS Azrael001. It's hard to even believe that you think that massclaim is a protown option. Most good setups _do not_ have both a cop and a doc, so as to explicitly not turn into games of "follow the cop". Urgh. What a terrible notion.lol objective morality-

Generally, well-written games with a cop plus a doctor have a means to keep a revealed cop, live doctor from flat-out winning the game. Either, they have a scum roleblocker to block the cop, an SK or second mafia group to doublekill through the doctor's protection, or something else along those lines.MonkeyMan576 wrote:
Huh? In my experience almost all games have a town cop and doctor, but maybe that's not the way the game is played here.-TinVision- wrote:Most good setups _do not_ have both a cop and a doc[/b], so as to explicitly not turn into games of "follow the cop". Urgh. What a terrible notion.
In other news, I'm still trying to sort out what I think about the KoC-Lowell-Light interaction.lol objective morality-

I just read back and noticed this quote. By "two of those three are together" you mean that they are a scum team together? I'm surprised this slipped by unchallenged; it seems like an awfully big leap of deduction based on very paltry reasons. Either you're Sherlock Holmes, or you're talking a lot of nothing, or you're try to encourage a wagon on any one of the three of the people who've garnered some suspicion already. I don't trust it.BridgesAndBaloons wrote:A team of Azrael-Lowell-Light might be too obvious, but I think two of those three are together as least.

I hate to say it, but I agree with Lowell.Lowell wrote:
This is a useless list, and not just because I'm on it. You picked the only four people anyone is talking about and said you think they're slightly scummier than the people no one is talking about. What are you, the narrator?MonkeyMan576 wrote:
Ok, my bad. Needless to say, we have a good number of people that are looking scummy(at least scummier than everyone else) at this point:
Lowell
Azrael
KoC
Light
You should at least say what you think of these people or your post is basically fluff.lol objective morality-

@Azrael: You'd rather see KoC lynched than, say, Jebus, ahaad, aceagain, or killa, or any of the people who have literally contributed zero to this game? Interesting.
While a lynch may be better than no lynch, that doesn't mean that no one lynch is better than any other.Azrael001 wrote: Wait, you want to drop a lynch (which will give us information) in favor of hoping that some other person will blunder. I think that the game will stagnate and we'll lose the people who are already barely playing. How long would you wait to make up your mind? When someone's alignment is known we will have a much better idea on how to proceed.
It's your responsibility to show usexplicitly wherehe has acted in an antitown manner. If you can't produce some evidence for your case, your case ain't shit.
So, Santos. We should randomly pressure role claims from various people, in the process either outing power roles or thinning the herd of unknowns in which our power roles hide, allowing the mafia a lovely buffet of options for their nightkill? Sounds positivelySantos wrote: So, let's get some role claims off some people who we find most scummy and then see if we believe them or not.
IMO, we are starting to overanalyze and are getting away from simple basics: let's pressure someone and then see what they say.
I agree, my vote is opportunistic. Why isn't anyone else taking advantage of this so we can either lynch someone or move on to another person?fantastic.lol objective morality-

Anyway, sorry for not being active, I fell behind. I'll be able to post something meaningful tonight, and if not, then in about four days time (vacation, woot).lol objective morality-
