Sorry for my absence, I've been in a crazy week with finals and other tests... but now I'm back and extremely confused as to why all of a sudden sammich is obv scum... anyone care to explain?

I think that was entirely based on Sammich's comment at the top of this page.

max's views don't respresent my own, but I'd like to know what Sammich meant by that.

My vote is based on sub game scum because I'm not a good enough player to hunt for meta-scum.

I've already posted all my reasoning of why I want Sarc/Faisco metalynched.

Glancing over it, I can't find any.

If you have better reasons for metalynching anyone else or expect better reasons to come up, you're going to have to produce them.

I already said I probably will not be able to find any. Catching scum is the only part of mafia I attain any sense of satisfaction from, so if I have to settle for subgame scum, subgame scum it is.
However, I too have laid out my reasoning for why I think Sammich is metascum. So hmph.

I expect metascum are going to have the metagame far from their minds right now, so I doubt they would be making moves solely for the metagame.

I think we should be hunting for subscum metascum in this game, largely because I feel after receiving two scum pms the submeta scum are going to start posting by the same patterns, thus they will be the easiest to catch.

Next, we should look for subtown players who just don't want to post or put in any effort. They could be metascum.

And when we are in lylo, we should try to gain as much advantage over subscum as we can, just so we can continue gaining information on metascum.

Which is why today I am going to focus on winning the game for the subtown.

No, I still believe there is a purpose to the subgames. I was confused as to what the best purpose was for a while, and came to the belief that, at least for the first game, the real use it provided was retrospective, not immediately actionable. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I disagree on every count with this list. I'm serious, nobody seems to be in the right spot here. Why put Fiasco at number 5? Did you seriously think Sammich was the 6th person in terms of scumminess on your list?

Basically, I cannot believe anybody thought Pooky was the most scummish person, and kabs and ryan look very town to me. And I'm even more surprised you wouldn't compromise and say "well, pooky's scum, but if he's not, he could be right with his theory." You had no exposure to sarc; the only info to go on him was Pooky's theory.
