More than ih other games we need to focus quickly and get a bandwagon going. If we do have the traditional bad luck and bandwagon the cop, we need the time to get someone else to the quotum before the deadline.

FOS: non bandwagonners.

This is as good as it gets on day one without even a night's actions to start with. The bandwagon was rather random, but I like the results. Kinetic's reactions are to my taste far too overblown for a regular townie, who should know when to take one on the chin for the town. A townie lynch on day one is statistically the most likely outcome and hardly the end of the world. For scum on the other hand to have one of them lynched on day one is a very bad start.

I really don't understand why people sign up for a game like this and then just let themselves be modkilled.

Um, no. As soon as we lynch or vig the second Capulet, we win and the traitor (and the Capulets) loses.

Let's not rush into voting. It looks like we will have several modkills coming up, and that is highly valuable info (maybe even game over). I do share the mods disappointment. I came out of retirement on this site because of the special set-up and to have the game screwed up like this is frustrating.

I have done a complete read through again - and no real clues either.I have a small hunch that logisticus might be the traitor though based on his posts on this page. But it is a small hunch. And I'd rather hang a capulet than a traitor anyway.

FOS mert
as well, but for different reasons.

I have no problem you voting for xyzzy, but I do have a problem with the reasoning. If you suspect him to be the traitor, he should not be our target today. The traitor is harmless, and only comes into play in the end game. We really should give it our best shot to take out the remaining Capulet - and not the traitor.

No. We win when Lord and Lady Capulet are dead. How difficult is it to read your own win condition? Or is it because you do not have our win condition?

For the time being I keep my vote where it is, as I am not convinced by Merts defence. It smacks to me like a mafia scum who found a nice reason to go after a townie and then forgets to see whether the same reason applied to himself. I expect a townie to be more careful. I think the deadline will hit this weekend, so all of us please make sure that you are on-line to vote and avoid a no lynch. I will switch to a forerunner if Mert does not gather more votes.

Well, we have two options, the way I see it:

[1] We lynch before the deadline and before the modkill to save Jimmy R.
[2] We accept the modkill, which brings us down to 4, then the correct play is no lynch to narrow down the choices next day.

I prefer [1] and as noone seems inclined to follow me against Mert, I'll pick the next most suspicious one to me:

Unvote Mert

If I were not voting Logisticus for being somewhat scummy, I would be sorely tempted to vote him on principle for his obnoxious posts and personal attacks of a player.

I beg your pardon? The Capulet did not know the identity of the traitor, so why don't we have a 3 player end game in which we both claim to be traitor?

His unwillingness to cast the vote on you and instead let the day end in a no lynch. So I assumed he knew you were the capulet. Wrong as usual.
