I want to ask again what we gain from full revelation of nominations? All I see happening is the scum jumping on to any overlaps in voting and using that to maneuver us towards a mislynch.

Listing the nominations probably won't help us today. But it will prevent the mafia from voting en mass. If there is a discrepancy today we can't show anything, but if there is one tomorrow we can ask everyone why they nominated who they did, which means the mafia have to lie even more and may be forced to take an unconvincing pose.

When have I made this the specific argument? The game's setup allows for the initial narrowing of the lynch candidates to made at night and with greater flexibility. It is, in practice, going to work out the same as putting everybody up on the block and then discussing the top two or three bandwagons, which is what almost always happens in a normal Day anyway.

Bull. In normal games, it's possible to switch the top lynch candidates in the process of a day. The mafia also has a much harder time manipulating said top candidates. Ignoring the option of gaining additional info from the nomination system is essentially choosing to play Limited Lynch Mafia.

Which was made immediately after I pointing out a pretty glaring bullshit post ("Why the fuck do you care?") that I wanted response to.

That doesn't make that post any less ad homin-icous. As I already explained, I ignored that sentence because it didn't make any sense.

Next time I'll just state all my positions on every issue at the start of every day, place my vote, and not check in again until night. Will that be more consistent?

Next time, if you change your mind this completely, it'll probably be worth it to actually bother to say that, so you won't be suspected for contradicting yourself. If you choose not to, you may want to be more understanding of people who don't continually check back for severe contradictions. Said people may have actually forgotten your earlier post and probably aren't trying to blatantly misrepresent you.

It's not just a knack, it's somewhat intentional. I definitely disagree they don't lead anywhere, though. I think they make tons of information available to the careful reader, and give scum many and more chances to fuck up.

I do like to believe I'm capable of stopping said "winding convos" when they really aren't going anywhere, for example my current lack of reply to JDodge or the current situation in another game of ours with somone whose name rhymes with Magneto.

I think the best way to handle this is to not openly state who we are GOING to nominate but give logical reasons AFTERWARDS.

Nominees should also post who they nominated before anyone else on a new day too as it will help in deciding who to lynch.

Unless people have something to ADD to the topic i suggest we leave it for a while.

Going round in circles makes it possible for scum to confuse us.

Out of the nominees I think cheesefan is a perfect canidate for lynch and I still don't want to let skruffs martyr himself. I'm obviously against killing the rabbit, and I am also keeping tabs on maz and ghryt for there rabbit hunting. Jdodge I think is town. The only one that gives me vibes that we can lynch is cheesefan.

After night two shenanigans I hope the poeple who are vocaly against working together, assuming any of you are townies, will see that WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER!!!!

I dont agree on your positions on Jdodge or skruffs though.

The idea that Jdodge is town mearly because he got more votes on him is not valid. Other factors such as power roles may have a hand in that.

As for skruffs, you should never refuse to lynch a person just cause you think he wants to be a hero. You should keep an eye out for such players.

Im not saying that your idea of peoples roles are wrong, im just saying that you have got to them in a funny way.
