@Skruffs : Id rather we took out the one proving to be least helpful and to be honest i think your being the most helpful among us.-

Ghyrt isnt a choiceJack wrote:Listing the nominations probably won't help us today. But it will prevent the mafia from voting en mass. If there is a discrepancy today we can't show anything, but if there is one tomorrow we can ask everyone why they nominated who they did, which means the mafia have to lie even more and may be forced to take an unconvincing pose.
I'llUnvotebecause jdodge posted it right away and with Romanus outright refusing it looks like more of a stretch.
Vote:GhyrtI think his skruffs vote is quite weak. Probably just day 1, but I'd like to hear more from him. The other three seem innocent to me so far.
Its me, Skruffs, RR and Jdodge-

I still find you amusingRaging Rabbit wrote:
Bull. In normal games, it's possible to switch the top lynch candidates in the process of a day. The mafia also has a much harder time manipulating said top candidates. Ignoring the option of gaining additional info from the nomination system is essentially choosing to play Limited Lynch Mafia.MM wrote:When have I made this the specific argument? The game's setup allows for the initial narrowing of the lynch candidates to made at night and with greater flexibility. It is, in practice, going to work out the same as putting everybody up on the block and then discussing the top two or three bandwagons, which is what almost always happens in a normal Day anyway.
That doesn't make that post any less ad homin-icous. As I already explained, I ignored that sentence because it didn't make any sense.MM wrote:Which was made immediately after I pointing out a pretty glaring bullshit post ("Why the fuck do you care?") that I wanted response to.
Next time, if you change your mind this completely, it'll probably be worth it to actually bother to say that, so you won't be suspected for contradicting yourself. If you choose not to, you may want to be more understanding of people who don't continually check back for severe contradictions. Said people may have actually forgotten your earlier post and probably aren't trying to blatantly misrepresent you.MM wrote: Next time I'll just state all my positions on every issue at the start of every day, place my vote, and not check in again until night. Will that be more consistent?
Oh, right. Yay me. I have this annoying tendency to sometimes miss important pesky little words such as "not".MM wrote:You realize he said it should NOT be you, right?
Two fucking reasons:MM wrote:Why are you getting so upset - or, to use your own words, why the fuck do you care?
1. I was fucking being fucking sarcastic.
2. I generally fucking prefer it for everyone to fucking explain every fucking play, especially when said fucking play specifically applies to me.
It's not just a knack, it's somewhat intentional. I definitely disagree they don't lead anywhere, though. I think they make tons of information available to the careful reader, and give scum many and more chances to fuck up.Cheesefan wrote:Hmmm RR I say you have a knak of getting into long and winding convos that dont lead anywhere.
I do like to believe I'm capable of stopping said "winding convos" when they really aren't going anywhere, for example my current lack of reply to JDodge or the current situation in another game of ours with somone whose name rhymes with Magneto.
Also, don't you find me amusing anymore?!
And by not going anywhere i mean that they usually end up exacly where they left off.
But i agree that they give information but just by the journey not by the destinaton
Sorry for making that unclear-

I can see your point about it being more of a scum role
So if we belive it or if we dont we can agree he is scummy
Anyway lets get back to the matter at hand
Me, you, Skuffs or the dog?"Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

I Agree with Jack on this one, the graph has its uses, but it doesnt count as evidence against scum.
Also your claim that the nominations on me wernt random is a bit farfetched. I think you might be grasping at straws here."Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

I will not be part of this system.
It gives scum another chance for a mislynch-

The graph helps. (Period)
Right now we have to be carfule how we use it, as the game progresess the info from the day one noms will be very helpfu.
Can I get that picture as my avatar? I LOVE it.
Skruffs argument was so Damn good I wanted to believe it over my Role PM, and nominate myself for being scum.
We need to figure out noms and vote. This day needs to get a little close to ending.
I say Nominate Ghryt and Jack. Jack because of the graph. Ghryt because he is scum. Romanus and Maz can wait.
Vote: cheesefanHis not tyrying to defend himself has me thinking he is the best one out of the current noms. And the graph has me atm thinking Jdodge is town.
"I say Nominate Ghryt and Jack. Jack because of the graph. Ghryt because he is scum. Romanus and Maz can wait."
Whats the case on Ghryt and dont nomitate based on the graph.
Id also really like Romanus up on the block tommorow, why do you think he can wait?-

I think the best way to handle this is to not openly state who we are GOING to nominate but give logical reasons AFTERWARDS.
Nominees should also post who they nominated before anyone else on a new day too as it will help in deciding who to lynch.
Unless people have something to ADD to the topic i suggest we leave it for a while.
Going round in circles makes it possible for scum to confuse us."Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

I will never agree to vote as others tell me or tell people who i am going to vote.
I will vote as i wish but provide logical reasons for doing so the next day."Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

Where did Jdodge say random RR?
I took it to mean what ive been saying for a while.
We shouldnt revel our nominations till the next day.
HE should still have reasons for making them though."Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

I know see why RR pisses everyone off.
As for the open nominations, its a dead point now, at least four people now disagree with it so it will not work."Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

2. Itsl ess about freedom, more about fuckupabiliy.
Im not gonna tell the scum what im doing before i do it.
And it gives the scum a pre emptive chance at a mislynch"Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

By all means dont overburden yourself by making an actual CASE against me.DeanWinchester wrote:Ok. We should just give up working together on the nominations for today. I am still watching all of you that are dead set against working together BTW.
Out of the nominees I think cheesefan is a perfect canidate for lynch and I still don't want to let skruffs martyr himself. I'm obviously against killing the rabbit, and I am also keeping tabs on maz and ghryt for there rabbit hunting. Jdodge I think is town. The only one that gives me vibes that we can lynch is cheesefan.
After night two shenanigans I hope the poeple who are vocaly against working together, assuming any of you are townies, will see that WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER!!!!"Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

Ok, thankyou for clarifying.
I dont agree on your positions on Jdodge or skruffs though.
The idea that Jdodge is town mearly because he got more votes on him is not valid. Other factors such as power roles may have a hand in that.
As for skruffs, you should never refuse to lynch a person just cause you think he wants to be a hero. You should keep an eye out for such players.
Im not saying that your idea of peoples roles are wrong, im just saying that you have got to them in a funny way."Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."-

Ok, I understand.
Talk about nominations but skruffs clearly asked someone to REVEAL thiers.
Thats not good since some of us, including you, have agreed not to reveal.
Others revealing will give the mafia a HUGE advantage."Of course, just because we've heard a spine-chilling, blood-curdling scream of the sort to make your very marrow freeze in your bones doesn't automatically mean there's anything wrong."
