Being as bdonlan was being replaced, I was able to place my vote myself. Assuming that was the last one, we should cycle to D3 soon, right?

Nai wrote:That's odd. However, I can conclude that I am not insane. I got the same response as last night, saying that Iammars is "uncool".
That's not how insanity usually works though, Nai. I think you're thinking of "random" results; insanity will ALWAYS tell you the good guy is bad, and the bad guy is good.

Of course, that's under ordinary rules... do we wish to try to knock off Iammars again? He as much as admitted guilt yesterday, but maybe he himself knew that he could fend off the lynch. Maybe a little more concerted voting would be in order...

how do you know it was switched to Jentsu? For all I know your vote could be on me. I don't get pms telling me where my votes go, do you guys?

That was either really scummy Iammars, or I'm being left outside of a loop.
I don't get any messages telling me where my vote 'actually" landed. So it's either scummy, or it's part of Iammars' role that he isn't telling us/doesn't understand yet.

Did anybody else, like someone with negative votes, vote for Jentsu? Because I can prove Iammars is lying/mistaken, if not... I voted for Jentsu, and he's only got a count of 1.

(Yes, I know we were supposed to vote for Iammars, but I figured at that point he had enough votes for lynch, and I wanted to try to figure out what my ability is. I know now.)

Iammars almost seems to be acting TOO bizarre to be scum. Of course, since most of us probably don't know yet which side we're on, how can we tell?

What are we waiting on, exactly? Do we want to try to vote off Iammars again, or someone else? Where IS everybody?? :?

If I had to guess, you're an alignment cop. That sounds very much like the message someone else got earlier about Iammars (can't remember who off the top of my head).

I voted for Iammars last night, and it gave me the result I expected.

Confirmation from the mod: that little suspicious bit was just flavor, so he didn't have to write the same thing four nights in a row :p
Well, that's helpful... so essentially you got the same message, but in different words?

The question is, how do we best make use of our votes, if Nai is right? Obviously a majority of votes are needed, and we can't count on 1-2 more votes from scum anymore (they may know who they are). Vote-trackers can pinpoint those folks, maybe, and our 'doc'(s) should still go elsewhere.

I think there's 10 votes left total, maybe 11, so 6 votes on Jentsu should do it?

If Nai hasn't voted, I'd suggest he 'investigates' EnderX with his vote. I'll help the majority on Jentsu, in either case.

If we can finally get our act together to have everyone BUT Jentsu, Nai, the doctor, and any sentient scum out there, vote for the claimant, then it'll be useful. But if not...then not. It depends on how smart the group is, really.

Who are we waiting on? Does the lynch target need to vote, if they're going to die anyway? Maybe that's metagaming, but this "everyone's-choices-must-be-in-but-secret" thing is seriously cramping my style (and interest).

It wasn't Crola. He voted for himself, I can tell you that much. The front page says he was a serial killer with an escalating vote count, so maybe he started at negative (like he said, trying to imitate TSAGod?) and was working toward positive.

So far two scum and one SK are dead, I'd guess whoever voted for Nai is our other scum, but they may be fairly powerless.

I don't really have a lot of suspicions, Nai. My power is negated every time you get a scum result, ironically, because I end up voting for someone who ends up dead (usually). Random voting today might tell me something, though.

Nah, there's too much variability in vote amounts different people have (we saw what happened one day when we tried to be clever). I've only had a couple of interesting results so far, but my vote is in for today. Maybe it'll hit paydirt...

I don't believe I've yet gotten a name associaetd with the result I get, just a result on "that bloke" or other epithets from my spirit. That makes me think there might be some sort of redirector out there, but today, at least, I can confirm what Bacde said, since I voted for him, and got a result of 'they voted for Beaker'.

I was just what I said, a prayer/vote-investigator. As far as I could tell, it was always accurate, but there may have been some sort of role-redirector around confusing things, as I was never told "who" I got a result on, only that "That guy prayed for..." or "That chap voted for...", etc.

I wonder why your spirit would be confused about me? I never got any impression I was scum, or neutral (how would you even discover that?).

Was this last night? I think Changling_bob was just bored and couldn't think of any clever PMs. Mine was:

"You are visited in your sleep by your spirit, who appears preoccupied: 'That guy voted for beaker. Also, I appear to be rather bland this evening =/'"

My others were things like:

"Your spirit visits you in your sleep. "That dashing fellow you were after, rather bizarrely he voted for himself! What a strange thing for one to do.""

"Your spirit visits you in your sleep: 'Well this character rather had something against Nai, didn't he. Rather. What ho.'"

"EnderX didn't vote anyone because he's a ponce.
(sorry about the lack of flavour, but, you know )"

"You are visited in your sleep by your spirit: 'Good evening to you sir, how is one this evening? The dashing fellow you sent me after? He was rather voting for Jentsu! Toodle pip!'"

"Your spirit vists you in your sleep. "What ho! That chap you sent me after, he voted CaptainDuctTape, didn't he! Rather. Good day, fine sir. Toodle pip!""
