Townies and scum don't want to get lynched either way. I'm gonna call out bad reasons regardless. This counts as one.

My understanding was the defensiveness WAS a scum tell. Not a "only scum do it" thing but something that leans scum more than town. Am I off base here? Admitted newbie (this is my third game and first participating in RVS) so maybe my theory background is weaker than I thought, so please do correct me if I'm mistaken.

You are correct. I actually do believe defensiveness leans more scum. Especially if scum thinks they are caught and shouldn't be.

Like, it depends how it's said. Page one: "here is why you are wrong" probably fine. "OMG this case sucks please don't lynch me" looks like scum because they are getting far too worried. Knight's post looked a little too worried to me.

Yeah, that was about it. I've explained it afterwards as "i rarely get sheeped this easily and it's usually impossible to get my suspects lynched" (usually not even past my own vote).
Hence why i said it was giving me the chills, a.k.a i had a bad feeling about it.

You're still attacking knightmare but you are not voting him and you have also been casting aspersions on his whole wagon (can't be bothered on mobile to find a billion quotes, but I believe this representation is accurate)

I am sympathetic with Lowell and his case on you. Sakura bothers me for two reasons. First her unvote when you attracted the wagon. This does not seem particularly bad though. It was basically an RVS wagon that took off. I can understand her unvote. Second is that she never attracted the Almost50 vote. This is what I was referring to when I said connections that don't mean anything without a flip. If Almost50 flips scum, Sakura would definitely get a scum nod.

I do see the difference. And tunneling someone is generally not a townie indication. Even if you are scum, there have to be others and I hope that Lowell starts looking for them.
