Checking in.

I'll be skimming the thread to get an idea of what's happened so far, but if any kind, benevolent soul feels like giving me a fly-over of the most relevant points to date I would be most obliged.

Unvote
while I orient myself.

If anyone has any questions for me, fire away.

I have too short an attention span to do any more than skim for now; if anyone points back at anything of significance I'll read around it for context.

VOTE: Aneninen

I'm picking up a definite, "Look how town I am," vibe from him.

@Clown what do you find weird?
the beginning of your iso
has content and questions
even if its wrapped in small posts
and short sentences

after rvs your iso has little content

the beginning of
the lapsa wagon seen
here disappoints me

was this one of those
"it started out lame but made
more sense later" things?

'cause it doesn't seem
especially compelling
from where i'm standing

Can someone explain to me why MonkeyMan576, llll, and evilpacman18 are more deserving of rope than Aneninen and droog? Because my gut is saying otherwise, but maybe I missed something mindblowing.

Yep, you caught me, I figured my best chance at saving my scumbuddy from your advancing, awe-inspiring wagon of terror would be to copy his read on you.

My villainous schemes have been foiled once more; and so quickly after joining the game, too. Such a pity.

More pathetic
Than the monkey one?

Go look at lapsa's play
And the way he broke rules
Go look at the monkey case
Or the lack kg one

We got locked into one of the other
Because everyone wanted monkey

So if you hadn't been, "locked into one or the other," who would you have pushed for?

Also evilpacman18 your introduction had me thinking that post was going to be way scummier than it was - it was almost compelling, actually. I almost sheeped your Aeronaut read until I noticed even you hadn't; why no vote?

Yeah, it really should. The case on you is solid and the case on me is inherently flawed. CKD is criticizing my vote on you when there is no towncase on you.

Questions I have include:

1.) What is "inherently" flawed about it?

2.) Where is the "towncase" on
you?

Well, he said your #362 was "impressively scummy" and voted for you 6 days and 2 hours before the end of the day.

Which is kind of different from him calling you "obvscum" and voting for you at "the end of [the] day" "at the last minute."

Unless what you meant was that he switched to the Lapsa wagon at the last minute, in which case... I would assume that was because the deadline was approaching and settling on a lynch is kind of important?

1.) Quite a few people switched to that wagon to gain a majority. Why is all of this righteous anger directed toward IIII exclusively?

2.) Did he actually say you were his biggest scumread? Maybe I just missed that, that would be an interesting detail if you don't mind directing me to it.

I want to know what your problem is with asking questions to get caught up to speed instead of getting bogged down by sloughing through muck. Don't know about you, but time is precious, so whining about me asking if anything important happened yet isn't wrong at all. You know better. If that's what you think passes for an excuse to vote me, you are sorely mistaken, and I will rip you apart over it until you acknowledge your reasoning here is crud.

My problem is that it's lazy and anti-town. What if the people you are asking for help with are scum?

If I had all the time in the world then yes it'd be lazy. I do not, and I don't think it's too much to ask the other twelve players to give a brief summary. If anything's lazy, it's refusing to even provide a sentence or two i response when you have more time than the person asking. BS on it being anti-Town, BS on it being scummy, and BS on it being lazy. I'm not asking everyone to provide walls of text doing my own work. I'm asking the other players (not all, but at least one) to help me catch up with a sentence or two. What's so difficult about it? Are you trying to fabricate reasons to cast suspicion on me? I think the route you're taking is horrible if you're Town, because if you're Town we are a team, and we help each other out if we are able. There's a chance that one of the people providing a response is Scum, but hey, that's the risk you take in a game of Mafia. People don't suddenly stop asking others for reads because, *gasp*, the person being asked could be Scum. I am not liking this new direction from you, and am now more eager than ever to question the motives behind your actions.

Wow, you don't like a direction where you're being scumread, that's a surprise.

@ret

which looks scummier
monkey for switching to wake at random
or |||| saying monkey was picking on wake
when monkey did develop a case on wake for lurking

That "case" looks pretty scummy to me, to be honest.

Latching onto an inactive player (read: lynchbait), scumreading them for their activity level, and asking ridiculous questions like, "What if the people you're asking for help with are scum?" (hey, newsflash, if you ask scum to summarize something for you and they lie about it, then we'll call them on it and lynch them) is pretty bad.

I don't have a particularly stunning rebuttal to offer your case on Pacman (still in a semi-waking state, and preparing for another 14 hours work - I have three days off after that, though [love those state observed holidays] so I may have something more concrete once I'm fully cognizant), but I will say that I have "good feels" for him and he would not be a favored lynch for me.

Katie's tempting, though, and I'm very curious as to why you'd rather hold off in that regard.
