Lowell... gah. I can see thinking the watchmen were just masons, but even so outing themselves on D1 only makes them targets. Then, with 1 watchman left and you wanting him or her out too... gah again. He only has 50% chance. So he gets no result half the time, at the risk of having the doc or investigation target killed as well. In short, I agree with CoolBot.

Yikes. Quite a gory scene, Raythr.

Those are some pretty good plans- for scum.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

Atticus, there was a metagame precedent? That certainly puts his post in a new light. I haven't read 358. What happened?Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

I think letting the doc and watchman make their own decisions is better. I mean, outing the watchman cuts down on possibly docs for scum. So now we have 11. Minus the two scum is 9. Minus the watchman is 8. So that's 1/8 chance of scum to hit doc at night, and it goes down by 2 every cycle, from lynch and kill. Without the watchman out, scum has 2/11 chance to hit power role, but watchman has 1/10 chance to get scum and doc has 1/10 chance to protect. I like those odds better.
I think we might be putting too much emphasis on the watchman. He has only 50%, true? He might be more useful in late game, when there is a greater chance of targeting the scum target. So in this case also he should be kept alive and hidden.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

That was odd... I dunno, I guess it's justified, but I don't think that was the best trap you could have laid. Anyone saying they are scum is going to get voted anyway, either because they're a target or because of a LAL type interpretation. I don't think you would get too accurate results.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

Meh. Elias could be overplaying/opprotunistic scum, or he's, uh, something else... I dunno. It doesn't seem hugely compelling. I think Lowell's odd plans and maybe SC's scumclaim are worse.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

You would think so, wouldn't you? My vote stays, I was considering unvoting but Lowell's rather bandwagony post did it.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

Gah. I don't know who is scummier. I'm going to review the game, a little of it as there is. Expect a vote next post. Oh yeah, andUnvotetill I come to a more final conclusion.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

GC: Lowell vs. Stalling.
I think, in retrospect, that Stalling is overall more suspicious than Lowell. Lowell could be an overeager townie, but I can't find a good explanation for SC's actions.
But I'd like a vote count before I vote.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

What are you talking about? Did you not find Lowells's "plans" suspicious? They appeared to be an attempt to set up power roles for a kill. Then there was the 5th vote on SC from him. He isn't as scummy as SC, but he isn't pure as driven snow either.
I've decided not to vote yet. We need more discussion out of this day. I also think the SC bandwagon is a bit too convenient, the way it was the second one that appeared and how it piled up so fast.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

Oops. I got confused. I thought Lowell's 5th vote on SC wasbeforeSC did his little claim. That's why I was seeing Lowell as more suspicious for a little bit.
Guys, SC has 5 votes. Are we willing to end the day now? If so, I'll go ahead and hammer.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

I don't think scum would be particularly more scared of a confirmed power role than a secret one- they both have an equal chance of finding the scum, right? It would simply narrow down the possibilities for the doc.
And another thing- how CAN we confirm the watchman? He's the only investigative role, so he can't be confirmed that way, and we have no other power roles than could reveal something like that. Even if thw watchman does come out, he'd be counterclaimed by scum, likely resulting in the deaths of both, or at least a good deal of confusion.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

Very convincing defense. How do you know people won't return? Or even that the scum will risk replacement or modkill for not reponding to the prods I assume are being sent out?Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

I was hoping someone would notice I was revoting and start a discussion. Which you did.
Lowell is the proponent of the plan. Not only that, but we've had a lot from him and not much from you.
SC was messed up, scumclaim, etc. Reading over, in fact, Lowell was on that train more than I was- I was voting Lowell most of the time.
Where is that perfect32487 guy?Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

I didn't see the alignment, although if players did it might be somewaht broken. Maybe randomize Lowell's alignment again?

Let's see. That perfect123789 guy never checked back after saying he had connection problems, conflux has a virus... who else... trabony?
So what are we going to do? My best lead is gone, and the game has gone a bit chaotic. Maybe we should pretend there was a one-shot day cop who targeted Lowell, or something?Showyeah, they're totally buying it.

Well, since I suppose it doesn't matter anymore...
Don't look if you don't want to know...
Me and elias.
The plan was get Lowell lynched today, and probably Jack would have been next. Might've worked too. Lowell looked pretty bad, and prolly Jack for nightkill. Then conflux or perfect213908 to lynch.Showyeah, they're totally buying it.
