Strange things have been happening lately. UFO sightings, crop circles, and people having strange dreams point only to one thing: the aliens have come. Your suspicions are confirmed when a resident witnesses an alien being stealing the body of a townsperson. Mass panic ensues, leaving only 12 people to stand between the body-snatching aliens and the rest of humanity.

1. Please bold all votes and unvotes. The moderator is not responsible for any miscounts due to unbolded votes, hanging chads, or supreme court rulings.
   
2. Executions will require a simple majority of votes. Once a simple majority has been reached, nothing can stop the execution. Players may
   vote: no lynch
   – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
   
3. Should the moderator deems it necessary, a deadline will be instituted. If no one has received a majority of votes by the deadline, the player with the most votes will be lynched. However, if no one has over half of a majority (1/4) of votes by the deadline, no lynch will occur. In the case of a tie, whomever was at the required number of votes first will be lynched.
   
4. Do not post anything game related once you are dead. It freaks me out when dead bodies get off the floor and start talking.

7. Do not edit/delete any of your submitted posts. Once you’ve posted a mistake it will be there for all eternity.
   
8. If you anticipate being gone for more than two days, please inform me and the other players. Side effects of unannounced absences may include nausea, diarrhea, and/or replacement.
   
9. Deadlines for night choices are there for a reason. If you miss the deadline, you will perform no night action. Reasonable requests to extend the deadline will be granted.

“That couldn’t have been done by any earthly weapon!” exclaims a townsperson.

“It must be the aliens!” shouts another.

“They’re going to kill us all!”

After everyone settles down from the shock of finding the dead body, one of you finally has the courage to search for clues on the corpse. All you can find is a bottle of sleeping pills. Apparently, JereIC was a

pharmacist

able to slip sleeping pills into people’s dinner to keep them asleep all night.

As the sun sets, it looks as if there will be a showdown between mikehart and Quailman at the gallows. However, suddenly someone speaks up.

And suddenly, the town turns to Fletcher and promptly lynches him. Perhaps they though he was an alien with a broken translation device.

Unfortunately, you see that Fletcher was an innocent child who looked incapable of harming anyone. That is, until you find the alien ray gun in his pocket.

With the sudden realization that someone who gotten his role stolen couldn't possibly be a townie, the town moves quickly to lynch zu_faul. They haul him over to the gallows and hang him. In the morning, you awaken to find a hideously disfigured body laying outside. Like the other bodies, a laser weapon had scorched through the victim's torso, killing him instantly. You take a closer look to see that it the body of an alien. What’s this? Are the aliens killing each other? Is there another killer on the loose?

But, alas, the body belongs to mikehart, a human whose body had been stolen by the alien body-snatchers.

cubsfan - mlaker sent me a summary of the night two choices. I didn't see one for you so I just assumed you didn't make one. I guess he forgot to include that in the summary.

zu_faul - the aliens have the ability to swap roles with anyone no matter what role they hold. So, when EYNH targeted you on night 2, he was a townie and you were a psychic. Switching roles turned you into a townie, and EYNH into a psychic.

DP - I thought that the role-stealing mechanic was normal enough for the game to be considered a normal game. I guess I should have researched role names a bit more so that they weren't as obscure.
