Umm I’ve only read 3 pages non-consecutively. Bella and greeting town, confident on Bella, not on greeting so much.

As for what should we do. I was thinking about Divulge and then keep/Depart depending on the player's alignment.

However, while reading the thread it occurred to me that since we can only go after one of the options Divulge/Depart, we could end up in a situation where we keep Divulging and uncovering townies and never hit a scum. This in itself wouldn't be so bad, if it wasn't for the fact that an uncovered townie is a prime target to be killed off by the mafia the following night. Which, in result, makes this option useless unless we manage to uncover a scum.

So, I say we pick Depart to our best possible abilities today, and only use Divulge if there is no other possibility of townclearing a certain slot.

You divulge separate from the player you give pr to. The burden of choice is on scum to leave pr or conf town. Then rinse and repeat.

I don’t. I want to divulge and give the pr to the next highest townread, not the person who is getting their alignment flipped. So scum has to pick if they eliminate the pr or the conf town. That way town is nearly guaranteed to be met positive by day end.

I only brought it up because we could technically play this setup as mountainous without flips, not that I want to.

Why does someone else's slot depend on another player? It feels like an excuse and it's a very easy statement to backtrack on if it's proven wrong.

No groundbreaking season tbh. I'm just familiar with them. I don't think they'd be so easily stung by Andante or very cautious of my defense if they were scum. Bad position for scum to go. Equally bad look to have no townreads and openly state that.

So I think he is sincere, and likely just town.

To me Kitty lacking depths in reads is scum indicative and it’s probably not something galron!scum draws attention to if they are partners with kitty.

I think Kitty throwing reads out without depth is typical of their scum game so they would be an ideal candidate to learn the alignment of. With that in mind I don’t think I’m the hypothetical world where kitty is scum, that frogster would be pressuring a partner (kitty) into expanding those reads the way that they are. So I am positing that I DO NOT think they are scum together. But I have suspicions about each individually.

Idk probability and statistics. But assuming we hit divulge on town every day and give pr to the town flip of every previous day we have 5 more 1/12 shots at rolling a bulletproof and negating a kill. We also have a 1/12 shot that town gets roleblocker and a 1/12 that town gets jail keeper. But the odds of those happening AND they hit they player carrying out the kill skews numbers into ranges I don’t really care to calculate.

Worst case scenario is that none of us know how to play mafia and we get down to 3v3 where We have to hope that whoever gets pr that night is both town, rolls bp/rb/jk/vig and successfully hits scum to save the day. Then repeat down till game end or till pr Rands a game ending role.

I’d rather not be pr’d. the rationale behind giving the pr is the same as yesterday with Funtime. THE ONLY important part is that the divulge and the pr are not on the same person. Losing a pr is fine. Because the only way that scum gains agency over the game is by being granted a pr or by a pr being given to an unknown to introduce wifom into the gamestate.

If the pr is given to KNOWN town then wifom can’t be introduced and control stays with the town while we figure it out.

The problem with my method is once we hit scum with the divulge but that’s a bridge we can cross when we get to it.

We can also weaponize the divulge even if we don’t hit scum because we are limiting both the pool and scums power to push key slots, I have an idea of a set of divulges that pins scum but I’ll hold out for the time being.

Roden the problem with your vca is that we were not voting to elim so it really doesn’t matter the way it would if it culminated in a kill. Scum are only focused on being townread enough to not be divulged or townread enough to get slots to nominate them for pr.

Well Roden pointed out the vote I missed on first ISO (which by the way does default to a divulge or ?). Going through it again nothing stuck out to me as scummy still.

Roden I was intentionally holding back what made me scumread you to see if you would dig a little into where I was coming from. You never bothered to find out why I caught whiff of your alignment and it reaffirmed my read.

Basically your reads on the middle of the road slots, and my slot in particular, looked like you were setting yourself to swing into blind departs. I think the fence sitting on my slot in particular was what really piqued my interest. So I threw out the scumread and you jumped to scum sussing you out and not elaborating instead of directly asking me where the read came from, I figured I’d hold it till you ask. Plus the tmi thing that was weird, all your play preceding the greeting flip was to make me look suspicious over finding out what my alignment was. Which is why I was comfortable being divulged to get you out. I’d like to say I pursue it if I don’t rep out but idk.
