A clarification, if you please...
I am New. I am in one Newbie game. Am I able to join a non-Newbie game at this point, or do I have to wait to be Dead in my initial Newbie game? (The rules aren't quite as clear on this.)
The reason I'm asking:

The way I understand it, for your first game, you can only be in one game until you are dead in that game. After that, you can replace into as many games as you can handle, but you can only start one game from scratch until you are dead in your second game. After that you can /in or /replace into as many games as you can handle. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
I don't read it that way at all. I guess I'll wait for Vel-Rahn's official word.

I don't recommend playing in more than one Newbie game when you first join however. If you're new to the site, we
strongly
suggest that you only play in 1 Newbie game to start with. Reason being is that we play differently from site X, and while you may have a blast playing games on site X you may find our way of playing not to your liking. Or this may be your first game anywhere and you just don't like it at all. This lets you get out of the one Newbie game in a relatively short amount of time and it doesn't disturb the other queues.
Effectively what it boils down to is this:
tl;dr: finding replacements sucks. Please don't go hog wild and sign up for 5 games, hate playing here, and then quit. We then have to find replacements for you in all 5 of those games.
Thank you for the clarification. I'm going to take it rather slow (for me), and only play in two games at a time. I'm seriously addicted to this type of game, and I've played it a lot elsewhere, and I'm comfortable with the gameplay on this site.

Also, you can watch the first post in the thread to see how full the next game is. That's where they keep track of the newbie players, the SE's and IC's.

I know you've finished one game; if you have another completed game, then you are an SE.

PACKBAT!!!!!
Good to see you here; I look forward to playing with you.
If you mean an Open game, as in the setup is Open (all roles are known before gamestart), that thread is here. Although, playing a Newbie here would help, to learn Our Ways.

Stealing, from the queue, both KawaiiMelon and tins to replace kingdomofnothing and Reya Cookiebringer, respectively, neither of whom confirmed for Newbie 1035.

Newbie 1035 needs two replacements -- one SE and one Newbie. PM if you'd like to skip the queue and slip straight away into a game! Still in Day One, nine pages.

I need a replacement for Kanashimi in Newbie 1033. Day Two, sixteen fun-filled pages! (It's a Newbie slot.)
You know you want to.
I really,
REALLY
need this. It's a Newbie slot, so anyone may replace in. We're fast approaching deadline, and I
will
extend if I get someone today or tomorrow. Still only sixteen pages! A bargain at twice the price! You'll never get this type of opportunity again, so join NOW!

I'm assuming newbie games are short and simple games, and I don't mind reading through 16 pages of chat if I have to, if yours is a newbie game, I'd like to join.
I wouldn't call them short. Simple, yes (comparatively). Role PM on the way, thanks!

I need a Newbie replacement for Newbie 1043. Day One and only FOUR pages -- it'll be just like joining a new game (much like a watermelon is like a canteloupe -- they're both quite tasty, right?).

(Pssst: To join a game, you have to explicitly
say so.
Like this: "/in for next" (slash optional but highly recommended.)
