a great title is one that older scummers see and chuckle at and one that makes new scummers ask and get introduced to a memorable piece of ms history or finds out about an (in)famous scummers reputation

Titles based around communism are much more appropriate for gigabyte or her Katyusha alt than Wraith vaguely defending Marxism in the political threads.

Wraith has managed to drag the class struggle into more threads then any of them, has been doing it longer and leverages it into far weirder things. He's like the Anix of Communism, this is a title that has been multiple years in the making!

If it was as Vonflare said where he just did it in one thread I'd agree entirely but Wraith's whole thing is that he drags every topic back to this, it's his entire shtick he doesn't do vague defenses he does full-throated ideologizing.

That's how this thread is meant to work, it isn't just a collection of people shooting things down until someone suggests the perfect title it's a discussion thread. Nom, spit ball about them, narrow it down and then decide on the best of the lot. If you think someone is taking the title in a direction you don't like then join in. Explain how you think it should play out, it doesn't matter if your suggestion isn't amazing or the perfect title because other people will build on yours, be the change you want to see and all that jazz.

People who have been around long enough to know this subforum exists are more likely to have been exposed to the discussion forums where us old fogeys tend to congregate thus more titles tend to come from certain areas like SE or General Discussion.

It would be awesome if we could somehow promote the titling process with the newer crowd but it's not exactly a terribly well advertised or even visible area of the site.

He's not wrong. The only reason I didn't get a title for any of my ACTUAL modern gimmicks is there is too many and they kind of cancel each other out because how do you pick one to prioritize. (though it didn't stop people from trying, sometimes trying so much they squeeze multiple ones into the same title). And really, me talking about how I invented uPick is one of my OLDEST gimmicks and me beetlejuicing is really just the uniting factor of me spreading my gimmicks to the world.

It should also be noted that me posting 11 essay-length threads over the course of one day (and crashing the entire site over it) got an entire Mafiascum holiday named after me, so we have certainly rewarded people with more for less annoying gimmicky things.

I'm thinking you may actually be the most titled scummer I can think of between Mafia Scum, Scully, 11th Hour and UCalled.

Not everything needs to be a fight, if Panzer's being an ass then either ignore him, tell him to piss off or just keep doing what you were previously doing. You made a good case for a title, it got enough support and Psyche is already started it's countdown so why shit up the thread arguiging with someone who doesn't like it. Panzers opinion here has zero impact, you've already gotten the title pushed through the process. Go think up a new one, spit ball about some of the other noms in the thread.
