It sounds like Oracle has been playing the merge exactly how I wanted to play it lol. only with more of an 'empty promises' vibe than a 'we're chill but imma vote you out anyway' vibe.

ughhhh this had so much potential if I'd just actually been here to play! F2 with Oracle would have been a hell of a ride

I really wanted to make an all-dog F3 happen as soon as our group chat started and filled with literal barking

@Margot - In the round I medevaced, Madame and I had talked about potentially needing to take you out later. The main reason she gave was that she was seen as tied at the hip to you, and because you were almost always immune, if people suddenly went 'we need to break up the pair' at endgame then she'd be the one likely taken out. I'd assume the reasoning was probably the same here, although she needs to have a very strong alliance somewhere else to actually make it now I think.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Oracle/Suzy/Gustave are looking to go to the end as a three, I feel like that would be the combination that gives them all the best chance...

@Writer - Re your round, Oracle filled me in on the Madame blindside during the phase; we were going to go ahead and let it happen so it looked like we were on opposite sides of things and we could protect each other... but then nobody actually split on Gustave's vote split so it went to a tie. I ended up feeling like I got really close to Madame and Margot that round so I asked Oracle to flip, and we both went and talked to Suzy about it too.

I think that was why Oracle flipped, there could always have been stuff going on I had no idea about though

That helps a bit at least, Duke. Still does not assuage the fact that multiple people felt a need to keep me in the dark ON A REVOTE. Like, I get not being forward on a normal vote cause of items and the like, but pretending you're on my side during a revote does little except be absolutely terrible jury management. I just wanted to know I was going, I get I wouldn't get to know all the reasons until later but at least let me actually know, right?

At least it seems more like a game move to support an ally than "oh no I'm afraid of rocks", which is just a take I can't ever vote to win.

Bets on who goes out here? It's honestly hard for me to see any alliance Madame could've made stopping Suzy from taking the shot at booting her here, but I might be wrong. Richie will probably prefer to go after Oracle if he has the chance.

Shocked that they decided to vote for me tbqh since I would never be immune and they could just vote me out whenever they felt like it. Feels like a punt because they don't want to make any hard decisions yet.
To be quite honest, you felt very dangerous because you were so loyal to a very particular bloc of people, many of whom I was struggling to get in with and work with. Even if you weren't a direct threat, having your vote around was a big obstacle.

This reminded me that I almost (as in was typing up the message when Gustave messaged me and I decided not) spilled the beans on the Society of Crossed Keys and offering my allegiance since I figured there were much stronger blocs out there. Was there any chance that would have at least spared me being the target?

As for who goes out here, my guess is Madame D, but my hope is for Oracle to go.

Hi Margot!

I'm sorry that I never managed to work it out with you. In the round Herman left, I was in a really dark place. Everyone was mad at me for leaking info which was fair because I had leaked info to Richie. I had a separate F2 with Richie and Oracle from the beginning of the game. In the round Herman left, I decided to tell Madame everything I knew about the game from my pov and offered her a F2. I actually wanted to go to the end with Richie/Oracle/me or Richie/Madame. Richie and I spent so much time talking about how great it would be for Wes Anderson fans to be at the end but I guess he didn't see my value anymore.

I know I flip flopped a bunch and that was not really strategic at all haha. I can say that honestly since I'm not at FTC. I just genuinely liked all of you a lot and didn't know how best to navigate that. I've never been in a game where I like so many people lol. I do feel that if we had swapped earlier, I would have formed a more genuine connection with you.

As much as I liked our you/me/Richie/Madame group, I didn't feel like you all would take me to the end.

I hope there's no hard feelings though. You are so great and I was so afraid of you!!!!

Also had you actually floated my name to Richie? I do suspect he’s lying but this back and forth made me lose so much faith in him.

Tbf it could just he a misunderstanding, Margot never hard said your name to me but did mention both you and Herman as people who were relatively uncommunicative. Though I guess Margot can answer for themself on anything further.

I ended up concluding this was probably it. I never floated your name as like "I want to vote her this round." I talked about you as though I wasn't super aligned with you and like talked about how hard it would be to push you. But I never pushed for you as the vote partly because I really liked you and partly because I didn't think it was wise strategically.

Tbh, I was hoping to go to F3 with you and Richie. I was not lying when I told you I thought Madame was by far the most threatening person in the game, so I was further surprised to see you all want to go further with her over me.

Although, I say that, idk what I actually would've done at an F4 with all of us. I still think Madame is the biggest threat but I also devoted like so much of my game to sticking with her and I felt such a strong loyalty I'm not sure I could have actually brought myself to ever vote her out

You needed a Buckley to bring instead :3

Really though, so far it sounds like Madame has been able to forge a path through this game through sheer charisma and wit, with people recognising her as a threat but not doing anything about it largely because they get on with her so well. And she's done it without the same dirt on her hands that Richie seems to have (as far as I know!). If Madame is at the end, it will take some heavy convincing to get me to vote elsewhere.

I wouldn't discount Richie. He has had a far stronger strategical game imo, although Madame wins out on the social side. And both have faced similar amounts of adversity. I'm not sure where my vote would land at the moment.

Currently my vote will likely be easily personally, I'm busted for Richie but Madame D is a strong second, but I do plan on asking questions that help everyone with their decisions after my early more personal ones.

Yeah, my personal feeling leans more towards Richie but I'll try to go into it with as open a mind as possible.

Yeah I felt that was probably coming

Well played by Richie. I will try to keep as open a mind as possible going into speeches and questioning but it’s going to take some serious performances here I think.

WHY WAS I NOT A PART OF THIS???

(It's okay <3)

Also to weigh in on the "Margot bringing up Suzy's name" discussion, I am pretty sure that Richie genuinely believed that Margot had suggested voting Suzy out (based on conversations Richie had with me about it), but I think there was an aspect of him interpreting what he wanted to out of things Margot said, rather than it being a true or accurate interpretation.

For example, Richie was messaging me convinced that Margot had suggested voting Suzy out in a group chat of me/Richie/Margot, but I did not see that as an accurate interpretation in the slightest.
