I believe this is tracking towards everyone else voting for Gustave, so my plan is:
Confirm with Gustave that he's about to get cut by everyone he was with but that I have the power to save him
Extract a promise from him not to vote against me next round, guaranteeing at worst a tie vote at 4 so I get a chance at fire making if I lose final immunity (balanced by my own promise to vote for him as a juror should I lose said fire making)
Get his agreement to vote Suzy with me here and stay hush hush about it
Play the idol on him

Gustave believes what I've told him about being in trouble here, he floated Suzy's name to Madame D. Now I just need to talk to him about the idol and get him to cut the deal I want.

Yes, he could go spill those beans to Oracle and Suzy and they could all vote off Madame D. now but really, the worst I get is the same do or die final immunity challenge I was staring at before.

Confessional Prompt 31: How do you decide who to take with you to the end and who to cut as the final juror?
I think that cutting Madame D. gives me my best final tribal council matchup. I also think Madame D. is the person here who is most likely to become a jury vote for me. Oracle probably votes for Gustave as a juror. Gustave might be an open vote to be picked up by the best finalist performance but I'm not considering voting Gustave out under any circumstances because we have our agreement to vote together this round.

Peter Whitman:
Madame D. > Richie
This is a vote I think I'm favored to win with Madame D. out of the way

Buckley:
Madame D. > Richie
Same as above

Young Writer:
Richie > Madame D.
Gotta hope Writer is a vote for me going into any matchup

Herman Blume
Richie?
Pretty big question mark to be honest. No idea what he's looking for in a finalist. I never betrayed him and when I voted for him he had given me the explicit OK to do so. Hoping he's in my column but he could just as easily go to Oracle or Gustave.

Duke:
Oracle > Madame D. > Gustave
Not a vote I expect that I can win

Royal Tenenbaum:
Richie > Madame D.
Same as Writer, if this isn't a vote I'm winning there's pretty much no way I'm winning FTC so let's be optimistic about this one

Margot Tenenbaum
Madame D.? > Richie
I'm not sure how much she's going to weigh her feeling of being burned by Madame D. but I have to assume I'm the favorite to win her vote if Madame D. is out of the picture

Suzy Bishop
Oracle > Gustave
I can hope that Suzy will understand why I lost trust in her and understand why I decided to cut her, but coming so close to the end and in such a brutal fashion I'm not counting on winning this vote

Discounting the final juror altogether, I can see a path to five jury votes for me with Madame D. out, and if I can pick up Madame D.'s vote then I have wiggle room if I lose one of the others.
