I did video confessionals for my last game and will probably try to do them again here! I'm hoping to continue my streak of "making the merge at a minimum". The fact that we don't have 21 people playing this time (with 3 hydras) makes me feel a little better.

Hahah I think I know already who the Rat is. Their PMing style, grammar and capitalization style is very familiar. I won't say who it is, but needless to say they are a person who is on my radar.

Ok my conversation with Foxy has gotten really strange. I wonder if they know who I am since they just said to me "The idea is that we never have them go to tribal council like the Hito tribe." I want to reply "well that didn't work out so fucking hot for me last time!"

I've touched base with everyone so far. I have a 3 person alliance with Fox and Peter. I think things are going ok. I wouldn't mind at least going to one tribal just to get something solid set up pre swap. I'm worried that I might be the Jael to Fox's me.

Fox is really fucking high speed and playing way differently than anyone on Jotuun did.

Congratulations on completing the first 24 hours of Survivor: A Wes Anderson Production! In recognition of this momentous milestone, I have come to provide stimulation in the form of SPECTATOR ENGAGEMENT. As a note, please do be informed that these questions are being posted to every confessional in identical form. These are not individualized at all - please do not read any intent to guide or influence you, as this would most certainly breach some form of journalistic integrity that I surely hold dear as... I think my character is a journalist? Okay, I'm doing the thing where I type out all my thoughts and I've lost the plot. HERE COME THE QUESTIONS--------

1. With nothing to do but network with your tribe, you will hopefully have learned something about those who you will live with, fight alongside, and ultimately cut loose. What is the most interesting, funniest, or just plain weird thing that you now know about one of your tribemates?

2. Your first challenge has brought with it an interesting conundrum in the form of competing goals to vie for. What do you most hope to achieve when the Flea Market closes? What do you believe your tribemates will reach for?

3. As a hypothetical, consider the following:
"Someone is targeting you to be the next vote-out should your tribe to go Tribal Council. Who is it? Why do they want you gone? Who will you rely on to stay in the game? How worried are you that such a situation might arise?"

Ok Cubbie I'll answer your damn questions! Just promise me I have the cover!

1. Unlike the in Panthean where it was a "friend simulator" as Xolf so lovingly called, this game has been pretty rapid fire. I feel like most of the people have just wanted to talk game so I don't know how much I know about the other people. I know that Rat's Dad is a few years older than me and once used Steve Zissou as his avatar on the internet.

2. I hope to achieve immunity and I'm hoping to get the Team Zissou rings. My hope is that they end up being a tool that lets me create a masonry with another player on the other side

3. There is an alliance of 4 (Foxy, Margot, Myself and Max) that I'm in. Fox wants to bring Buckley into the group too, and like my plan is to just say "Yes" to everything Foxy wants to do. There is not point in trying to fight the current. Like a 5 person alliance isn't the worst idea, because all we have to do is bring in one other person and we are good. The person I was planning on voting for (Francis) replaced out so now I don't know who the target would be. I would probably just go with whatever Foxy wanted.

Ok so last night was a little fucking wild. Going into the Challenge no mention of a specific name had been out there, but generally Madame and Royal were the two names I heard. Once we lost the tribal the vote pretty much instantly coalesced around Royal and like I was fine with that. But I can't get my conversation with Rat out of my head. Like my conversation with Rat was grating, it was painful for me to talk to them. I almost just considered leaving them on read and saying fuck it, but that's not really my jam.

I asked Margot just sort of point blank if Rat was off the table, she went to alliance chat and was like "Fuck it lets vote for Rat" Fox goes "Ok let me talk to people" and then like an hour later I started hearing "Hey I'm hearing the vote swap from Royal to Rat" so Fox was good on his word (for this at least). I'm glad I wasn't the one making the hard push for it and if I had felt any resistance I probably would've just let it go, but I'm good with this decision.

Confessional Prompt #6:

I think both Royal and Madame are very under the radar right now. I actually vibe pretty well with Royal (as does Margot) which was part of our reasoning for pushing Rat over Royal. I told Royal that the vote was on him but that Margot and I went to bat for him so I'm hoping that buys us some good will right now. Also for as active and out there as Fox is I don't think people realize how much sway he has. He's actually kind of scary TBH and I wouldn't mind voting him out if we got the chance, but I just feel like making a move against him (especially this early) is incredibly risky.

I'm realizing now the plan I set in motion is going to scorch the fuck out of me.

Right now the plan is Max, Margot, Myself and Fox (Chairs Alliance I guess) + Buckley to vote for Madame. Fox is going to tell Royal and Madame that I'm the target (I volunteered for this). Madame goes home 6-2. Now there is a problem with this plan that I didn't take into consideration until about 30 minutes ago. If I vote for Madame, Royal is going to know I was lying to him and that relationship is fucking severed. My plan there is going to be to tell Royal that this plan was forced on me, I didn't have a choice and didn't want to say anything for fear the vote could flip against me just as easily. Actually I think I like that idea a lot. Maybe the problem isn't as bad as I thought. Anyways.

Other plans:
Vote for Fox / Buckley. This plan consists of myself, Margot, Max, Royal and Madame. We keep things very tight and we eliminate Fox (or Buckley). I actually like this plan because it gets rid of Buckley who Fox seems super attached to for whatever reason. Anytime Buckleys name comes up Fox shuts that down super hard. Like not even a possibility, that makes me suspect our Alliance may not be what is most important to Fox.

The problem with this plan is that we burn our relationship with Fox and that seems incredibly dangerous as he is the type of person that would flip in a hearbeat if he felt burned, whereas I feel like Buckley would be more passive about Fox getting voted out. I think both are fraught with fucking peril

It depends on Margot. If Margot wants to go for Buckley / Fox then that is what I'm doing, but if I can't convince Margot to do it I don't have a hope of it actually working.
