Pitch Meetings / Re: LIVE FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL
« on: October 11, 2021, 08:35:39 am »
Thanks for a great game everyone! I'm excited for you all to see how it wraps up and learn each other's IDs!

I will also be on voice chat in the official MS Discord, if anyone would like to join me there, but Wes will mainly be focusing on the boards!

Madame, I think this is the best game from you've I've ever seen. Socially, your game was immaculate. It often didn't make any strategic sense for people to keep you around, but they just liked you so much that they couldn't help it. You were such a delight to watch play. And amazingly, had Richie not won that final Immunity, I think there's a very real chance that Gustave/Oracle might have brought you to the end in what would have been a tremendous error and handed you the win. You were the big threat this game. You played hard. You made some moves that I questioned, but I never doubted that you were fighting as hard as you could and doing everything in your power to give yourself the win. I'm sorry that it didn't happen for you this time, but Madame D. is an icon, and thank you for bringing her to life.

Gustave, you have such a positive attitude, and it's really been a beacon of light in this game. While other players would get frustrated and upset, you were always willing to give the game your best and keep striving to improve yourself as a player. I think that's really impressive, and that, combined with your self-awareness, has been awesome to see. Thank you so much for playing. Congratulations.

Oracle, you are one of my favorite people outside of the game, and inside the game, even though I was often rooting against you as a character, no one can deny that you brought so, so much to the table. Was your game perfect? Hell no. But you gave it your all, as you always do, and you were able to adapt to your missteps and find a way to make it work. Even if you sometimes lost control, your amazing social skills always ensured that you were in no real danger of going home, and I think that's so impressive. You're one of the best players on MS, and your performance here only serves to further prove that. Congratulations.

Richie, I don't have words for how much I love you and how much I've been rooting for you to win. Your love for the theme and your love for Survivor are absolutely infectious, and it really feels like your destiny to be sitting here at this point. Your journey had so many ups and downs, but throughout it all, I was rooting for you every step of the way. You are such an incredible player, no matter how many wins you do or don't have, and I'm so proud of everything you've accomplished. I hope you're proud too. Congratulations.

Suzy, you are a deeply emotional person and player, and I relate to that so deeply. I think you've proven that emotions can be strength in these games, and your unique approach to games is so compelling. Watching you confront Richie after being blindsided was so raw and emotionally honest. I felt like I was watching Sue Hawk give her snakes and rats speech to Kelly Wiglesworth, and the emotional journey that you've gone on with Richie has been incredible to follow. Even now, I'm still waiting with baited breath to see your Jury vote. Thank you for pouring yourself into this brutal game.

Margot I loved your play this game. You were an absolute badass, and the way you manipulated Foxy especially was so damn impressive. You had the entire game wrapped around your finger for the premerge portion of the game, and even in the post-merge, it seemed like you might manage to sneak your way into the end. Ultimately it took a huge move by Madame which many of us questioned for you to get sent home, but you should be so, so proud of what you accomplished here, and I have no doubt that if you keep playing, you'll win one of these in good time. You have the challenge ability, the social ability, and the strategic ability. Like damn, what can't Margot do?

Royal thank you so much for stepping in and helping us out when we were in a tight spot! You had limited time to devote to this game, but you showed how great of a player you are by doing so well anyway. At first we thought you might be an early boot, especially when you bid on those items, but it soon became clear that you were in it for the long haul, and it was so impressive to see how effortlessly you got yourself into that position. Thanks again for helping us out, and I'm glad that you enjoyed this game so much.

Duke, I think this was one of the most interesting games from you that I've ever seen, and you easily could have been on your way to a win had things played out normally. Usually a universally acknowledged massive threat, here your understated but purposeful play got you into one of the best positions in the game, and I still don't think you were on anyone's radar when your game ended. I also loved your vlogs, and they gave such a fascinating insight into your thought process. I hope all is well in your personal life, and I'm sorry that your game ended how it did, but thank you for what you brought to it during the time you were able to.

Herman I was really glad to see how far you made it into the game! You had perhaps the most difficult life circumstances of any player, yet you really managed to make a crack at this thing! I think several players came to seriously regret your elimination, so you can rest easy knowing that for many of those who voted for you, it was an error to do so. You were a stubborn player, and you stood by the people you were with, which is always a game that I respect. Thank you for playing, and I hope that you had a good time!

Writer, outside of the game I adore you, and it was so much fun to mod you! You play with you heart and bring such zeal and enthusiasm to everything you do, and I respect that so much. I also respect that you had so much going on in your life and you still stuck it out and fought as hard as you could to survive until the last. You and Richie were one of my favorite duos of the game. You're a great person and a great player.

Buckley I was sorry to see you bow (wow) out when you did, but you are a very canny player, and I think you were in a fantastic position to make it far had you remained in the game. Your skill at this is undeniable, and I'm glad to see you give these games another shot. Thanks for playing.

I don't like his speech either, but I do relate to his frustration. I have felt that way for closing speeches as well. He just needs to be a bit less proud I think. His pride is the reason he only made one post in Peter's thread, and it's showing itself as a flaw again.

Also 4.5-4 is a possibility

What's occurring that's causing you to maybe change your mind on Richie?

Suzy voting for Richie would redeem a lot in my eyes and be a very fitting ending. Emotion is expected in Survivor, so we can't blame her for that. The fact that she's even considering it makes me respect her.

Come onnnnnnnn Buckley, Duke and Madame D. Come through and vote Richie! You know it's the right thing to do.

Nothing but love to Oracle and Gustave but they didn't even really believe in themselves.

I have faith in Margot and Young Writer and in Royal. So just needs two of Duke, Madame D., and Buckley or just one if he can accomplish a split vote. A 4-3-2.5 is very possible (or a 3.5-3-2 if Peter randomly goes to him).
