already, i'm starting to pm. I wanna use this heavily, since Survivor Pantheon I was spectating, and kinda felt a little disconnected from what was going on with specs. I want my confessional to be pretty engaging, albeit seperating specs commentary and my own stuff.

Ok, so, Rat is on my team, and I'm gonna hard team with them. I want to. This is so funny. Initial thoughts on people who have messaged me back are pretty good. I don't dislike my initial feeling from anyone. I did just send out generic "hey let's talk" things, but that's because thinking of clever puns is hard. I'm gonna play social first. Get to know people.

Max is the only one who didn't really strike me as that engaging. Everyone else who's replied I'm having a pretty good convo with I'd say, but Max was just kinda like "yea eh" from me.
Not really a fan of him so far.

Time for thoughts on people. I'm copying this from Margot since she asked already.
Haven't really talked to Madame - she replied to me recently, while I was AFK.
Buckly seems pretty cool, and I'm open to working with them.
Klaus has been funny, and a pleasure to talk with.
Francis has just sent me a message back, and hasn't given me a lot to work with.
Steve is pretty cool too. We got into a discussion about wrestling, which like, not my thing, but it's Steve's thing so I'll happily listen to 'em talk about it.
Max is cool too. We've been discussing pretty much back and forth since the start of the game.
Peter is also really cool, and we've been discussing a whole lot back and forth.
Barely talked with Rat.

I proposed an alliance right off the bat to Rat, since animals and I thought it was a funny way to start of the PMs.
I'm also asking people about their thoughts on others, and kinda casually throwing out I'm new, and don't wanna go out first.

I actually feel pretty happy with my play thus far. I feel like I've been social enough that people are gonna talk about me and be like "Yea, Foxy is trying to be social and avoid boot from that."
I don't really care about challenge, so long as I do decently well, and maintain social, I should be fine to get to swap at the very least.

Max and Steve - I'm working with. I don't ever want to vote them.
Klaus I've been having a pretty good discussion with, and they're someone I want to try to bring into the alliance at some point.
Margot, I want to bring into the alliance solely because of her tactical approach. She seems like she'd be valuable to keep around.
Buckly and Peter, I want to keep around. Not in the alliance, but around in general. They seem chill, but I'd be willing to boot them if needed.
Rat hasn't talked to me a whole lot. I also proposed the half-joke alliance at the start. I may work with them outside of the rest of the group, or propose we take them into the majority alliance.
Madame, likely gonna risk being booted from being less active anyways. I like her, just not strong enough to try to defend her.
Francis has given me jackshit to work on.

So, I’m mostly trying to befriend everyone here and be the person that just kinda acts as a sounding board. I don’t think this is a good plan. At all. It could get me to merge because I’m constantly around people and the one who knows, but like, idk.

Alter here - I feel like G is overthinking this. Expect some messages back and forth between us in this confessional, or for this to be purely G’s thing.

I'm gonna tell Rat that they're close to the bottom for me just because we haven't talked.

Here are the general vibes about each slot I’ve been picking up:
Rat: 50/50 here on whether he’s been super talkative or super quiet. Might just be being selective with who he responds to? Generally seems decent although a little weirded out by the number of people who haven’t really talked to him yet
Madame D: probably a EU timezone or something, been quiet but funny/likable. Probably wouldn’t be a difficult boot if it came to it but isn’t disliked by anyone.
Francis: multiple people have mentioned getting off to an awkward start here, and they seem to be quiet. I’m trying to reboot my conversation with them but they aren’t giving me much.
Fox: people appreciate your energy generally and no one has had an ill word to speak about you thus far
Max: generally nice? Luke warm and has the same overlap of players he likes to at you mentioned
Peter: a few people really like him but otherwise no major opinions here
Steve: kinda the same as max and Peter, seems good to work with in the future
Buckley: generally widely likable with good impressions because people love dogs, but has been very quiet today
Klaus: haven’t heard anyone talk about him yet, but I’ve liked the small convo I’ve had with him
Of course these are all just very initial vibe checks, but I think they give a good image of what the tribe might end up looking like barring any major shake up come the challenge.
I do appreciate you speaking good things about me! I’ve been doing the same for you but I have a feeling you don’t really need my help to earn any good will :p

Rat appreciates that I told them I was thinking about voting them out simply because they haven't been as active. Tribe seems to like Rat, and probably will be the fifth in the alliance between Me, Steve, Max, and Margot. Sent to the three chairs alliance that Margot is happy to join, and asked for thoughts.

I've also said I'm not going to try to lie to people. I don't like lying in something like this, and it makes me feel icky. Games like mafia, I'm fine with lying in, since you already do that when you're scum, but a game based around social connections, I don't feel comfortable lying to people in.
I know this is suboptimal, but I really don't feel comfortable, especially when it can quickly backfire on me.

Steve just messaged me with concerns about the majority alliance, which I get. Steve is concerned that we’ll get resentment from the others over the fact they weren’t included in the majority.
Also, since G doesn’t really wanna lie, I’m gunna lie instead. It’s a game. I feel shitty about it too, but it’s gotta be done. ~ H

Everyone has said I'm well liked so far, and this makes me happy for my first game of Survivor.

Peter just told me he doesn't really get that far in these games, and like, that's sad. I'm really sad about that. I wanna get Peter to merge badly because of that.

Like, I know part of the game is social interaction, and just getting to know people, but Buckley just makes me happy to be around. I'd be sad to see him leave.

Prompt 3 - Not really. The results have changed who I'm voting for, absolutely. But not my strategy. I'm also trusting Buckley heavily now, and I'm gonna open up to them about dissociation.

Fuck man, I feel bad about betraying Rat like this. Rat was cool. I like Rat. If you read this Rat, don't get discouraged at all. People thought you were the most likely to have snagged the items, because you were afraid you were on the bottom-half. I wanted to protect you and vote Royal, but like, people said no. I'm not gonna fight the uphill battle of keeping you in the game, especially when you're not as active and trying to make strides to change the opinion on you, from what I know.

Klaus probably gonna leak to Rat that I think Rat stole all the items, and I'm hoping Rat isn't spiteful for that.
I did learn Buckley has two children, and they're trying to be active, but can't really.

Also for anyone who played/spectated Pantheon, I'm about to make a statement that will ID me without a shadow of a doubt.
Jfc there are a lot of bugs outside, and I'm fucking glad none of them are beetles, otherwise I'm gonna pepper spray them again. There are some flies and a couple of bees though. Bees are cool.
