It looks like you have a pellet lodged in your hand from that misfire! If at any point you possess the means to cut it free, you may do so. It can then be played once as an extra vote until the final seven TC, immediately after which it will expire.
-
Oh!!! I need that swiss knife dammit
-
so i got nothing for pagetop???? rude. i expected a belt
-
kisses my pellet a little bit
-
Young Writer hands you an item.

This is a a quality knife. Looks like it's Khaki Scout branded.

In the most ceremonious fashion, slice open my hand and take out the pellet
-
It works! The pellet is now free from your hand and available in your inventory. Those Khaki Scouts make good knives.
-
Wonderful!
Pass the knife back to the Young Writer
-
Done! The knife is no longer in your possession.

Peter, although we were able to secure your release from the pirates into Camp Ivanhoe custody, the ransom cost us a pretty penny. I’m afraid this is going to set back production on your film.
Peter, we’re going to have to let one actor go. Who should we fire?
for flavor purposes only
-
fire jason! never liked him anways
-
Jason Schwartzman has been fired from your picture.
-
do i still have the pellet ? :P
-
Afraid not!
-
seems like y'all forgot to drop foxy's tail here! a bit morbid you would use that after foxy went....
-
Hello Peter,
Thanks for playing. You are now a Producer and a member of American Empirical Pictures who will help decide the winner of this game. But first, you need to help me by picking up my coffee. You see, I need an assistant more than anything else right now, so as the first member of the jury, you will be an Assistant Producer and only have a half vote on the jury. The other players will not be told of this restriction.
-
what the hell
-
jury starts at 12, f3 or f2 both have potential for an unbreakable tie unless we have something up our sleeve, which we do and it's this!
i wanted everyone at merge to make jury and also to baffle the players
-
f3 tie is usually just broken by 3rd place. idk i just don't agree with messing with a juror's vote because now i have no investment in following the game except a personal stake? like i basically don't have a vote but i also can't be a spectator. it's just really frustrating for a juror to know i don't get to do what's asked of me at the end of the game

if it was 3-3-3 there wouldn't be a third place.
im sorry it's a downer, the 1/2 vote is essentially the tiebreaker, so in several scenarios you are the kingmaker. and, nobody knows about this unless you tell them so they cnat like blow you off or whatever. I was thinking that i personally would feel more upset by making the merge and just missing the jury (been there!), so i thought the person in this spot might like this, but i can understand why you might not also :(
-
do i still have to be an asst producer considering someone QUIT.
-
Heh we can actually confer on that but I don't know if we change it. That being said, i felt bad about this little assistant producer idea so i analyzed it further... i really think it's not as bad as it sounds. but you can see if you think my analysis is correct:
when does any one person's vote actually make a difference? Like, in a 6-2 vote anyone choosing to flip can only make it 7-1 or 5-3, no actual change in outcome. So when can an outcome be changed? Say theres a f3 with 8 normal jurors. I found 3 scenarios:
4-4-0. Anyone changing their vote here can change the outcome. But throwing a half vote into the mix changes the outcome too. So you are an equal value here.
3-3-2. Here anyone changing onto a three can change the outcome. But throwing a half vote into the mix changes the outcome too. So you are an equal value here.
4-3-1. Here is the one difference, where someone on the 4 can flip to the 3 to change it, but you couldn't. However, that's it: if the 4 flips onto the 1 instead, they've created a 3-3-2 where you're the tiebreaker. If the 1 flips onto the 3 they've created a 4-4-0 where you're the tiebreaker. And the people on the 3 can't change anything no matter where they go.
And that's actually the extent of the scenarios i can come up with. Maybe I'm missing something. But it doesn't seem like a bad spot really, i hope maybe? :)
-
these are the 2 scenarios where a tiebreaker is needed. the last one isn't a scenario because you needed to have someone flip their vote to become a 4-4-0 or 3-3-2
-
Voting has not yet started, but a 3.5 - 3 - 2 outcome with you casting the deciding vote certainly seems possible at this point. What do you think?
-
Also 4.5-4 is a possibility
-
exciting! i have not followed along on other's threads to know who's in the running but i will be making a vid akin to the tribe swap beanie draw so if that's the last vote revealed it'd be exciting!
