And the big takeaway I'd like to state publicly so there's no misconception, is that I did not win the item I bid the minimum on, meaning I was outbid.

Well thanks for confirming. That does help a bit to know what people actually bid. Also you did not have to share that, so thanks again for confirming it was a dud item.

It would make sense if it were only 2 people combining to get all of the items and then sharing the Zissou rings as their reward. Very odd that they would not have also outbid Writer for the SAK as it was well within their means.

I have a theory that the binoculars allow one to see who bought what on the other tribe - I've seen similarly named items before - so we can hopefully just talk to the other tribe once a swap happens.
