Confessional Prompt 10: How will this twist allowing you to communicate with the other tribe impact your game?
In theory it will allow me to do some planning for swap with current tribemates.
They just came off of a 5-3 votesplit between Steve and Madame, so am curious to figure out who's on the outs. Likely Foxy but supposedly he voted in the majority.

Just got pointed out to me we've got a tribal council after this, which makes it an 8-6 split going into the swap.

If I win a Mendl, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be playing it on Herman.

There are three sets of starting flags at the top of the hill. You must navigate horizontally to the flags for the tree slalom and enter the course between those flags for the timer to start. Otherwise you’re just cruising around for your own enjoyment.

Gahh I slipped up with Oracle, idk if he trusts me now.
I also don't really understand him, he seems to really like Margot for telling him stuff about their tribe but was annoyed at me for telling their tribe less stuff than that about ours.

Although, I must inform you that from what I've heard it's between you Duke and Herman, and I enjoy you the most of the three. :) Mysterious characters are hard to play well if I do say so, and you've done a pretty good job. ;)

To elaborate on the above, 'mysterious' was a term I used with Oracle in reference to myself, and never with Anthony or anyone else, so it feels like a strong indicator of the source. Most likely it's an aggressive attempt to try to get me to not try to save Herman but it may be more than that.

Anthony is out here saving me, meanwhile I'm plotting with Herman to leave Anthony out of the vote.
Idk how to bring him in though.
Currently I'm tryna get Oracle/Suzy/Duke to vote Young Writer
Herman is telling me he likes Young Writer and if we're on the bottom with him we should be working with him.
So to Herman I've proposed potentially getting Sam/Herman/Writer/Gustave/Richie voting someone else (i have Oracle in mind but I ain't sharing that yet).
Anthony has told me he thought Gustave/Writer were close which means I like the above plan more.
And so basically right now I'm angling for a 5-3-1 votesplit of Oracle-Writer-Herman. I don't think that's gonna happen and I expect this plan to change several more times, but that's where I'm at right now.

Neither of the theorized flips were gonna happen anyway, but at least with the challenge results it's gonna be easier for me to accept and just move on.
Hopefully I get swapped to something pleasant.

At this point I feel more comfortable with Oracle side than Gustave/Richie side which feels weird. I still like and trust Anthony much more than anyone else.
I'm considering mutinying but I'm struggling to find much for pros to consider it worth it.
I'm also considering passing the binoculars to Young Writer.

It tells young writer that there is a swap immediately after this round, meaning he wouldn't be left stranded on Rushmore Academy if he mutiny'd.
Am still thinking on if it makes sense though.

I'm still trying to figure how I feel so much trust in him now but was over-optimistically hoping to blindside him this morning.
Like is he really that charismatic? Is their something that affected my opinion that I'm forgetting about?

I do not want to be the stooge. I no longer have a plan and our tribe is probably gonna be determined by that unknown method. My main goal here is for Herman to not mutiny because if he leaves both the easy vote and a vote that isn't going towards me are gone, which will make the round potentially worrisome.

Thinking long long term
Anthony and Duke are the people I can see taking me to F5ish and perhaps further. Anthony will for sure think he can beat me at FTC (although that's probably correct), and Duke probably would see me as someone he's more likely to beat at FTC.
Oracle and Suzy are more likely to try to cut me at some point, though for now I can probably convince them I'll be loyal to them and Duke.
The problem with Gustave and Richie is that I think they're likely targeting Anthony and Duke respectively after the Herman vote. Also it is less clear how they feel about me. Ideally one of these two is gone prior to Merge, but not sure if that's gonna happen, especially if they get swapped together.
Writer I'm struggling with, I have been unable to see who's he connected with and me pushing his name will probably get back to him if it hasn't already.

I am still trying to figure that out but it's probably Richie and Peter being voted out at tribal councils 5 and 6.

i have heard your name out there, so that would be why Young Writer's ghosting you. i don't think duke is on the table now, it seems to be between you, peter, and herman. i haven't decided who i'm voting yet, because this tribal is just plain nuts. i'm considering voting you because i've struggled to connect with you and thus have a hard time trusting you; this isn't anything i can really criticize you for, it's more that our playstyles just don't mesh well. if it does end up being you, i'm sorry, and i hope you do well next time - in another tribe, you could have done really well.
Anyway I think Anthony's on board with the plan to vote flip:
Peter/Doublevote/Sam/Herman/Anthony
With Young Writer immune and Duke not being important we're considering between Oracle, Suzy, and Gustave.

Writer's ghosted me and is obviously voting me.
Gustave flat out said he's voting me.
Suzy is very bad at hiding she isn't voting me.
Oracle is trying to cover up the other's tracks.
Duke's the swing vote.
