If I'm interpreting this rule correctly

then casting a vote prior to the challenge would count as a conditional vote so I don't see why not.

If Sherlock disagrees when he wakes up I will defer to his interpretation but for now this is how it is.

Zat ees good to know! So if we find ze idol, we can vote right now and zen if we ever do go to tribal and eet 'as not already been taken by ze other tribe, we will play eet first regardless.
