Good TV!  I think because of Lucifer this is shifting from an easy 3-1 against Hercule to something potentially kind of wild.  I guess F2 made Lucifer fear being voted out at F3 if Rust wins immunity, and he wants to clear out the immunity threat of Rust.  Haven't seen a confessional from him but that's what I'm gleaning from the others.

Might be a bit of an overplay since who knows who's going to be more dangerous in the upcoming challenge between Rust and Hercule.  But if Rust and Hercule now are voting together against Leon here to protect themselves then even if the 2-1-1 shenanigans don't work we're getting a tiebreaker.

Yeah, this is fantastic.

Even if the waveform does collapse and it ends up being a 3-1 Poirot anyway, the path things would have taken to get there is exciting.

A tie vote should be a punishment for failing to cobble together a majority.

So I don't actually get this reasoning for an unfun tiebreaker at 4. Like wouldn't the people most at fault for the tie vote be specifically the people who were not the targets of the vote? Like this is why in an unresolved tie the targets are the ones immune at everything except F4. So why further punish the targets with an unfun tiebreaker for the actions of others? Is the failure to convince really that much worse than the failure to make a choice that preserves a majority.

personally i feel that that line of logic applies to all non f4 situations but f4 ties are a feature not a bug

too much time left i feel like something is gonna go wrong but it looks like it's happening!

trying to figure this from leon's POV.  to win jury favor from hercule, he's faking to lucifer that he's voting rust, so that lucifer will be willing to actually vote rust, so that hercule can vote rust and have a 2-2 tie and a shot.  but he's actually voting hercule, and thinks rust is voting hercule with him, causing the potential 2-2 tie sending hercule and rust into a challenge.  right?  very complicated

but this means leon thinks if he just told lucifer he was joining rust and voting hercule, that lucifer would change his vote?  not sure why that would force lucifer to change, hes immune anyway and if he wants rust gone he can leave his vote there.  unless he worries rust surviving after a 2-2 tie would make rust turn against him at f3...  my head is spinning here

and hercule could switch his vote to rust at any time to kill rust
and rust could switch his vote to hercule at any time to kill hercule

and they both know that but both have an interest in being at f3 together to have something better than 1-in-3 do-or-die challenge odds

this round is so good
