Title: 99th Precinct

Walking into this game as a cute as fuck dog has some advantages I think. Like who can vote this good boi out early? Pepper in the occasional Cheddar gif and there ya go.

YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD BOI I LOVE IT.

(cough)

But tell me what's going on. How do you feel about the game so far? Have any strategies you're developing?

It's been quiet so far. Grouch is fun, and even tho I only have one or two messages with her, the rabbit from Zootopia seems cool!

None as of now, I want to play the early game lowkey and just social. Make friends and don't break them unless needed. But don't worry, this dog has a bite ;)

I like sass! When you say you like bite, what does that mean?

I’m not afraid to alter aggressive later in the game if I need to

Also, I’m sure Hercule is nice, but his posting style w/ his character is obnoxious as fuck

Aside from Hercule, with whom else have you spoken? What's your read on them?

I’ve spoken with everybody a little bit and here are my gut reads

Lucifer - Going to be safe. Socially solid and active, he’s golden for the first vote or two.

Grouch - Big threat later in the game but great to have right now. Easily the most active player.

Hercule - Ok his posting has gotten a little less obnoxious. I think he’s a really good guy/player but damn his posting style can be annoying. He’s going to be that person who comes on too hard at a merge or swap and gets the boot.

Judy Rabbit - She seems cool as fuck but has weird hours. No idea how that’s gonna work for her, but I think she’ll be safe.

Quentin Lance - Relatively inactive so far, no real read. I think the first boot on our tribe could be him potentially.

Officer Jenny - The other first boot candidate I think. She’s kind of bland so far but we’ll see if I can get her to open up more.

Cheddar - Future sole survivor Halloween Heist champion

You can't solve this all by yourself, with out a raggy who would be your second in command?

I think right now Judy would be my preferred second, but also I think the real answer is that I would like to be HER second in command.  And Grouch's. And Hercule's. And Lucifer's.

That will keep me in a central position, and if I'm everybody's second in command, you tell me. Who's really in charge?

Is it a bit scary to be the sidekick to everyone's hero? If people start to draw lines in the sand, how can you manage your way through the mess?
Title: Re: 99th Precinct
Post by: Cheddar on June 28, 2020, 10:14:28 am
I'm used to being man's best friend!

When people draw lines in the sand, I'll have to adapt to the circumstance and see where my paws will go, but based on early impressions on this tribe, I think a line won't be drawn until Jenny and Quentin are out.

I think we may have won that.

Good news is even if we didn't, I think even the challenge solidified the easier targets of Jenny and Quentin. Quentin for flaking when he said he would be on at 1, and Jenny for prematurely starting the clock

You mentioned how a couple tribemates had some faux pas in the challenge, but did your opinion of anyone go  up after the challenge?

Jenny actually may have earned more peoples respect for the phone idea.

I think my opinion of Hercule and Groucho went up a bit for sure. Jenny too, at least over Quentin who didn’t show.

Not relevant to the game but I watched this and thought of you.

Now that we've had the challenge and some time to socialize, if you were to rank your tribemates in terms of your favorability, how would that look? Based on the list you've made, would you think you would want to make an alliance with anyone at this point in the game? If so, who would it be and why? If not, why would it not be a good idea to make a union at this point in time?

Yeah, yeah your questions later but I want to go on a tangent.

As somebody who worked an 11 hour shift today, I’ve been offline for around 20 hours straight at this point. I expected to come back really behind and have a kind response from every player.

We all been knew this didn’t happen.

I come back to only four messages, and I think we all know who we aren’t hearing from.

Quentin I get, he’s your typical inactive as hell doesn’t care first boot type.

But Jenny though. Jenny from the block. She is online ALL THE TIME. Why do I, and many other people, only hear from her every 24 hours?

And then she has THE AUDACITY to shit on our second place parade. Hello, I’m the dog. If anyone’s going to shit at an inappropriate time and place it’s me ok? Back off.

But for real wtf Jenny, I’m going to teach all your Growlithe K9s how to piss in your shoes I’m done

what is the most effective method to teach a Growlithe to piss in someone's shoes?

Piss in a shoe in front of them and give yourself a treat. Repeat as much as necessary until one pisses in the shoe. Give them a treat. Repeat for a while. Eventually only give treats sometimes so they don’t always expect a treat. Watch the chaos

no shoe will ever be safe again

Now if I really want to take it too far, I could teach an Arcanine to take a shit in a shoe. But that would just be utter madness

Based on current real-world events, I do not think it would be a good idea for us cops to make a union.  If we are talking about an alliance though, I think we all have an understood "Jenny and Quentin on the bottom" thing right now, and I think sticking you neck out to make the alliance right now is not great. I think everyone wants the alliance but nobody wants to pull the trigger on making it because they would become the leader.

Best
Cheddar
Grouch
Judy
Hercule
Lucifer
--------- (Cut off line of who I want to be in an alliance with)
Jenny
Quentin
Worst

Jenny is tilting me, but she can't be lower than Quentin rn since he's literally absent.

Also I have another funny Jenny quote hang on

She just told me that she wishes this game would move faster! Like girl, you aren't keeping up with the current pace!

Going to give this question thing a try.

How big of a fan of survivor are you? How many seasons have you watched? And what player would you like to model you game after?
I'm a huge survivor fan! I've seen most seasons at least once, but many old school seasons before Cook Islands (excluding PI) I have not seen. As for what player I'd model my game after, I think Adam Klein is probably my closest comparison. Play a great but underrated social game while managing my threat level well. Then at the end of the game identify who I need to take out to win and make it happen. But I don't think anything is a perfect match, and we'll see how my game evolves this time.

Ok y’all I get not being good at flash games but damn 900 ain’t acceptable.

I suspect some challenge throwing was afoot, which tbh, I had heavily considered doing myself so oh well I guess.

It was a close call and looks like there is a tough decision ahead of you. Prior to the vote, could you give me an update ranking of the favorability of your tribemates?
Title: Re: 99th Precinct

Same as above but flip Jenny and Quentin.

Quentin is a no factor, which SUCKS.

But Jenny is a straight up wildcard gamebot. She’s like Robo-Cop where shes a gamebot who doesn’t want to talk anything but game, but then she’s mostly just bitching about it being slow.

I think somebody slipped some malware in her code though, because now she’s complaining about the vote being on Quentin now because it’s “boring”.

She seems like that type of player who might just flip in a swap for shits and giggles and I don’t like that one bit.

Started a group chat to get our 5 on the same page. Now I can’t come off strong during the vote though, because starting the group chat AND dictating the vote makes me a leader and I don’t want that

Why don't you want to be a leader? Do you want to be a follower?

As I said earlier I want to be more of a second in command type to multiple players. Leaders get targeted early. The person behind them still has respect without the target

Lucifer just said that Jenny threw out Hercule's name to him  ???

She coulda had it easy tbh, but she has been so insistent on being sketchy that like damn girl. You're digging your own grave.  On the brightside, this round won't be boring I guess ;)

Also I think I’m succeeding well in my relationships. Lucifer confided in new that Jenny proposed a Jenny/Judy/Lucifer alliance to target Hercule. He wants me to keep it on the DL, and I will but him sharing that with me definitely means I’m tight with him.
Title: Re: 99th Precinct

And Lucifer just told me that he's keeping the fact that she proposed the alliance a secret but already told Hercule about Jenny throwing out his name, so now it's time for me to also give Hercule that heads up for some brownie points, while also leaving out the Lucifer/Judy/Jenny alliance talk to keep Lucifer's trust too!  ;D

The thing is these words are bullshit and the trick is to do the easy cop out, hoping other people do as well.
