everypony held onto their items just like all those super useful status effect causing items in RPGs that you hang onto until the final boss, only to discover that the final boss is immune to all status effects.

Yes saving your items until the last minute is pretty boring and useless
I would have been happier to throw idols at people in DR at more TC's then do nothing with them!

It's also because the person who found the idols is the person who literally got their way every round

Rarity probably just lost the game. No pony will respect him forgetting to use any items.
Soarins win here was likely necessary as I feel he was priority over DJ. DJ going here would be great for his game tbh.

I feel like Coco might be wise taking out pear here as he's the biggest challenge threat.

I feel bad if this is yet another live tc and most people aren't even online. At this close to finale it's nice to see nothing is set in stone but that's also because there's a fickle one in charge and anypony who had the power to take coco out never did. All depends what flavor of the day coco goes for.

I'm not 100% sure Coco resists Granny going here on its own -- but if it's part of a larger anti-Coco plan, maybe. The thing is, does Granny stick with Coco after being saved by Coco?

Even if Pear goes out here it sounds like Rarity still plans to go back to Coco right after - totally disregarding the Soarin PM.

Soarin/DJ/Granny should know better than to let Coco skate after that, and will have 3 of 5 votes next TC? But there's bad blood with DJ/Granny and Granny could be afraid that if she boots Coco then she's dead walking at 4 (although a few chances at safety there, I think DJ/Soarin are the clear challenge favorites)
