It's clear none of the "goat alliance" (is this the official term even though they're kind of in the drivers seat somehow.) like Coco, and Coco is aware, so it's probably the best move to weaken them instead of losing one of her allies.

We didn't really see much of how Pinkie was playing the game is part of the problem. Her confessional was pretty bare for the early phase, and she's only just started to actually tell us what's going on. Prior to that it was mostly gifs.

Pinkie and Trixie are both chaos, we just saw Trixie's chaos much clearer.
