First off, I know what you're thinking: Isn't this a little dark for a My Little Pony Survivor game? Well, during the research for this game I wound up reading a LOT of fanfic and if anything this is tame.

More importantly, though, if you are here it means that you have been completely eliminated from the game. You are free to hang out with your fellow eliminated players here. If you wish, you may be converted into a spectator account.

I've never played survivor not with people I'm comfortable with so I guess it was just a skill I never learned

It's just a game, twi. People are just having banter. Don't take it too seriously. Just because the primary mechanic is social interaction doesn't make it real life. There's a special art to PM people and it takes one or two tries to get right.

Agreed. In the first modcast I made a comment to the effect of "everypony needs to get kicked in the dick the first time they play*" and there are very few exceptions to that. I was rooting for you to come back into the game (no offense Trixie) because I felt that if you had a second chance you could learn and grow.

Remember, when people say that you were boring, they don't mean you as a person. They mean that the game you were playing was boring. That's something that comes with experience.

I will remove your spec access but you are free to get it back at any time after the emotions fade. I think I speak for all of the mods when I say we have no regrets whatsover about casting you in this game and we hope to see you in the future. <3

That's a hard question to answer. In Survivor I recommend using the material to try and get something started. There are four Pen Pal threads where you can see how people picked their favorite talkers and talked to each other live, to see what a normal survivor convo looks like.

Hey Twilight! I hope you don't get discouraged from this game and play again. Being social enough is a problem a lot of new players struggle with, but it's a very fixable problem. Not too many people do well in their first MS game.

I usually try to have a "hook" in each PM I send, like an open-ended question. You want to make it easy for other people to reply to your PMs. Ask yourself how easy it would be to reply to if somepony sent it to you.

Some good topics to talk about:
-The theme
-Any twists that are in the game
-Your interests
-What's going on in your lives
-Literally anything else. Daddy and Derpy were even talking about the definition of art, lol.

Note: I haven't seen any of the PMs you sent, so I don't know how applicable this is going to be.

I empathize with you not knowing when to start talking game. If you start talking game too soon, you're seen as shady. Too late, and everypony's already bonded with each other. A good rule of thumb though is that by the time the immunity challenge is posted (and probably even earlier), you should know who's getting voted out if you lose. And if you don't know who it's going to be, then it's probably going to be you.
