Pear is doing a good job of presenting himself as the inoffensive social nice guy to contrast Coco's strategic control.

I agree with DJ that Rarity's speech reads like somepony who was laser focused on getting to F3 at any cost, without considering that she didn't have to sacrifice everything to get there. I think the deeply emotional response of not giving in to emotional terrorism is the kind that would appeal to people who might vote Rarity though.

Walking into this my predictions for FTC votes were:

Coco - DJ, Soarin, Granny Smith, Rainbow Crash
Rarity - Pinkie Pie, Queen Chrysalis, Starlight Glimmer
Pear - Derpy even knowing Pear isn't likely to win

Rarity's speech reads much more like a sparknotes of what happened in the game than an argument for why Rarity should win the game

It's just changing with the times tbh, this format was introduced in Super Smash Bros when the show changed the format of FTC. I dunno about having 15 different conversations, it seemed like in SSB it was one convo per thread with different people interjecting different things. I think for inexperienced jurors it can help to have an idea of what you're asking about instead of FTC being an overwhelming experience. People will ultimately vote for what they care about regardless.

Not asking about cheesecake is like, an intended effect. Irrelevantly turning the FTC into dumb make the finalists do tricks hunts like post the best gifs, hottest guys, or endurance posting challenges is really annoying as a finalist. (certain people would violently disagree with me on this LOL )

During this game you all had the chance to talk to any of the 23 other players if you choose through various methods. You navigated through tribes, surprise swaps and the machinations of your competitors as they sought to sway others to eliminate you with their words and votes. Socially, Survivor involves getting to know your competitors and figuring out what makes them tick, what words will convince them to keep you in the game and get those that you wish out.

This thread is for the Jury to ask questions about how your ability to socially appeal to and persuade others stood out from your opponents.

TBH It's too bad Grand Pear vs Granny Smith would be the worst choice b/c we could probably find the best art for it

Soarin was voted out with 4 votes. Granny Smith received 1 vote.

Queen Chrysalis was voted out by 6 votes. Granny Smith received 1 vote.

I feel so hard for Granny right now. I don't think she knew the parasprites and voting Coco last round were even an option. But watching everypony march to either your inevitable demise or yet another FTC slaughter sucks. I don't know which I'd think is worse, I'd rather be DJ/Soarin and die trying. I don't think Granny 100% loses because the earlier jury was anti-Coco, its not a GOOD chance but because they can't just vote Granny out next it's still there.

If they actually manage to get Coco out next, I think Granny's chances are much higher because she was at least willing to try and take out the big threat. Especially if she wins fire and actually does it?

I mean at this point the only big move they can make is try to kill Coco at firemaking, which if pear did would run with the CHALLENGE THREAT type he somehow became
I would 100% not be surprised if Coco wins the FIC outright

Coco didn't even try last challenge, she was getting about double what she actually submitted as a score. (Soarin would have won anyways!)
I hope at FTC somepony brings up they had all the tools to bring her down and just didn't. It sucks to see people calling Coco ruthless though, its p clear that Coco's social game is super on point to the point her allies are like 'guess coco wins yaaaay'

I would have been happier to throw idols at people in DR at more TC's then do nothing with them!

It's also because the person who found the idols is the person who literally got their way every round
