I think you asking Petra to tone down the gimmick caused a chain reaction that got the target switched to you, outside of that you looked to be in a fine spot. And the mutiny seemed to be at the right time too!
I hope you play again - and thanks for adopting my random initialisation thing and turning it into a proper code! It sounded from confessionals like Claude really liked you and you had a fun thing going with that, I would have loved to see what would have happened if you'd made it over to his tribe.

This is such a tragedy. I hope you'll come back sometime. I think you got the hang of the game faster than most of the rest of the new people, and this turn of events genuinely makes me sad.

I am genuinely completely baffled. Noone mentioned a thing to me and I was nice to everyone, why did they do this?

From what we saw:

Hubert was the default vote, but started scrambling and basically just offering to work with the old Blues. It didn't seem to be working, except that Ashe started talking about how they could 'use this to get a bigger threat out' (at that point it looked like he was aiming for Dorothea, though).

Then Petra posted your post asking her to tone down her post gimmick and speak English in her confessional, saying that it looked like things weren't going to work out between the two of you. She then approached her alliance of old Blues (Petra/Hapi/Ashe) saying that you'd said you didn't like her.

From what I saw, Ashe jumped on that as an opportunity to move the target away from Hubert and onto the perceived bigger threat (you). The fact that you were likely to mutiny was also used against you. It was a massive shame, because you looked like you were in a fine position, but Blue Lions controlled that tribe and that's what they decided they wanted.

It's a bit scarce on the details, but I think Petra really didn't like it when you asked her to talk normally, and it seems like maybe they were worried you might mutiny? IDK, I really thought you were doing pretty well ;~;

To be honest,  this is hugely demoralizing. I don't mean to brag, but I think I spent the most time of anyone in this game messaging people (to be fair lots of that was coming up with acronyms, and I also wrote an 850 word short story for someone) and I'm pretty sure I did a better job than most making friends. And then I get voted out because I was being honest, asking Petra in a nice way to just speak normal because her way was making my head hurt? That feels like pure chance. And I even could have tied if I just voted for Dorothea (oh but I guess I did vote for her as my vote for Hubert didn't seem to get registered). I'll probably get over it soon, but right now I'm just extremely disappointed.

Definitely get it. It always feels awful to me too. I do think some folks may have been ahead of you on the alliances front, but it really was a good effort. Was absolutely rooting for you, especially since Hubert seems like he's just going to be next anyway. :/
