role through PM by us. You will be aligned with o
n
e of three groups or something else ent
i
rely. These groups are The Innocen
t
s, The Ghosts and The Priests. Each role may have a secondary
y
object
i
ve to meet out
s
ide the overall objective. The overall objectives are as follows:
Ghosts:
Kill all
p
layers that do not belong to your g
r
oup. This includes the innoc
e
nts.
Priests:
Kill off all the Ghosts. Innocents don't much matter.
Innocents
: Survive until no one is after your life or e
s
cape. T
e
am up or go it alone; your choice.
Please
n
ote that the names of said groups are meaningless. For example, a member of the Pries
t
group could be a criminal, a ghost could belong to the innocent group or your neighbor could belong to the ghost group. It just sounds better than Group A, Group B, and Group C.
There are two phases in this game: Movement (where you can move to an area) and Bloodbath (where you can perform an action).
Movement Phase:
During this phase you can move to any area as many times as you want within the time limit. Do so in the thread unless specified otherwise.
Bloodbath Phase:
You can perform one action (Attack w/Item, Defend w/Item, Search, Use Ability, Use Item, Give Item, Hide). Do so via PM to me.
Are choices which may be selected in the Bloodbath phase unless you are told otherwise. The types of choices available are as follows:
Attack
- You choose a weapon in your arsenal and a person in your area to attack. If you have nothing in your inventory to attack with you will attack with your fists. Unless told otherwise, fists always do 1 damage to all factions.
Defend
- You choose an item in your possession to defend yourself with (any item will do, some items revel a special ability if used in defense and others will break)
Use Item
- Use an item you are carrying.
Use Ability
- Use an ability you have been given. Abilities can do anything. They may also be learned.
Press, Move, touch X
- Perform an action to a suspicious looking item in a Area. (Such as a book that may be a switch to another area) You need knowledge of the suspicious thing before performing an action.
Search
- Search the area for items or switches (could accidentally trigger a booby trap). You may also search a specific part of the area that is described in the area description (this may or may not be use depending on sign ups)
Hide
- Causes the player to disappear from the Location and Status list. Player will become visible once they move.
– You may find that specific rooms have special actions which may be preformed. These choices may be common knowledge or become revealed to you during the game. The current known Special Actions are:
To be added once the game has begun.
Items are specific objects given to the player either at the beginning of the game or as the game progresses. Typically, you will find items during the Bloodbath phase after searching, but this is not always true. Items may have more than one use.
You die if you bleed too much, explode, drown in a submerged Italian restaurant, etc. There is a hit point system but it is hidden (i.e. you have to infer someone's health from their visual condition). When a first aid kit or other medical device is used, the user will be provided with the hit point value. You may be able to eat food to heal yourself.
Corpses will stay in the area in which they are killed unless they are moved. You may loot the corpses at your own risk. It may also be possible to revive players. However, one must face the consequences if he choices to mess with Mo- we mean God.
-I want to try to make this a quick moving game so I will constantly be updating and prodding in thread.
-You will not know what happens in any room but your own (player health and descriptions will be updated so you can probably take a guess).
-Sections may be added or removed as the game progresses
