I think it's pretty obviously softing our role

I also think all five of us have effectively softed the role, and the scum among us was almost certainly informed of what was up before we started

I think it's plausible from either alignment, possibly slightly more likely to come from scum who has more reason to put significant critical thought into how our role/neighbourhood works so early

WIth this mod? Yes.

I actually looked back that the game yall linked, and in that game the mafia in the dethy was given a fake claim that also spelled out what was happening.

Having played one of my favorite scumgames of all time under this mod: Scum get PLENTY of info and won't be caught flat-footed about this sort of thing. Ceph is very rigorous on not having mod mistakes or lapses in info make scum fall to gotchas.

It's hard to say for sure, but I would think yes.

In the two dethy's in my games, (I was in one of them), the scum members knew as much as the town players did. It was in the opening post of the dethy hood.

They were traitors, not goons and the odd ability out was rolecop.

It would be super powerful for a goon to be able to tell their team who the cops of unknown sanities are, though. Not sure how to balance something like that.
