I have a few thoughts. First off, I don't know what it was, but this game challenged my bandwidth so hard. I wanted to do a game without extra PT's or Neighborhoods, since I use a lot of those normally, but in conjunction with going VLA on Day 1 (sorry about only 1 VC per day on those days, just didn't have the time and the VLA came with only a week and a half notice ahead of time.)

Setup wise, I think I'm pretty happy overall with the setup. There are some things that in hindsight I would have changed, like Tanuki role of Herbologist becoming Loud, and then having a scenario where if Two Headed Dragon Night 1 Informed somehow died and the info didn't get out, that there was another way, but I thought the role would be enough. It wasn't.

So I used a Disease Mechanic, and basically every Town aligned player was stricken with a Disease that added Miller to their Role PM. The Omni-Fruit CURED DISEASE, and thus, acted as another Demillerizer.

It was unfortunate that every one of Merlyn's targets besides the first one failed to show on a living player.

I think scum wasn't all that strong PR wise, personally, complex, yeah, but besides the BIOLOGICAL INTEGRATED FUNCTIONAL INTELLIGENT DUAL ORGANISM, they were semi-standard other than Stage's Mutated Disabler, which I didn't write well enough in the Role PM. Well, I did, but I see that I should have written it more, or bolded or something considering it was different.

I think Alisae's Symbiotic Role with communication could have done some damage, so unfortunate for town that both Alisae and Two Headed Dragon got out as early as they did.

Also, unfortunate Elements had to claim on Day 1 that they were Night 2, letting scum take care of that.

I still think if Merlyn's Omni-Fruits were getting out, it would have helped out town a lot.

On a play level, I think scum hard controlled day thread. They did a lot that they didn't need to do, and most importantly, they helped each other out a lot, and you can tell from the SCUM PT how much effort they were putting into controlling the game thread.

If Theta went down, I think immediately those who got Bit would become conf town, and I think if town could have just gotten 1 scum here, it could have snowballed.

Gamma Emerald did well at becoming undeniably town imo, and pulled the night kill because of it.

Personally I was getting checked out of the game the way it was going, I remember Tanuki saying they got a fruit but didn't even register there was a difference.

Unless we missed something, Tanuki didn't bring up any of the details like it being a picture or the "cure disease" thing not being there, or say it was different than the one we claimed we received. So I don't think I'd have figured that out.

Yeah, I almost said no images, but i couldnt really warrant it, and in all reality, it should have outed Sky as scum.

Merlyn had a specific message that the player would receive when given out, but scum were really strong at making the game feel chaotic with day play.

yeah, i think it did require Merlyn stepping in as well with it.

Just comes back to how unfortunate it was Merlyn couldn't get one onto the living, but they did target town every time with it.


Deal With The Devil became Vanilla once they got the Omni-Fruit, so Skygazer's message never got to them because they were Complex.

Yeah, my biggest mistake was pushing theta Day 3. I don’t even remember why I did, and I think we could have gotten a significantly easier win if I hadn’t.

Day 4 I think my fake guilty on Bingle was probably necessary? Maybe not necessary but definitely a net positive. I did not want Bingle alive in ELo because he’d be a threat to my control of the thread (which did end up evaporating anyways, although I could have avoided that if I’d played better).

I pushed Gimli Day 2 not because his reads were good, but again, because I wanted to control where the thread would go on Day 3 and I didn’t want Gimli being pesky and causing people to reevaluate their assumptions. I didn’t think he would react well to being pushed too and I was correct. This exact same reasoning why I wanted to kill Titus and 2hd even though they were never truly obvtown.
