Should both exist within the game one of the two mentioned above will be picked out at random/mod discretion.

The mod will tell you which of the above applies at gamestart.

- Factional Suicide Bomb in lieu of a traditional night kill. Sacrifices the life of the hostile if used. Max one use per night phase. This does not bypass protections
- Inner Network: Should a member of this faction be eliminated by means outside of a killing action (e.g, an elimination) they can still elect to communicate with their partners in their PT afterwards, should they elect to do so they forgo access to any dead thread that may exist
- This network of hostiles often use media to advance their cause. A message of up to 500 words in length may be sent each night on behalf of the faction for the mod to post upon daystart. This message will not indicate that it came from a hostile network
- All members of this faction are inherently considered to be in possession of
explosives

-Wins via parity or wipeout

Non-Standard Groupscum

Each night you may craft an low-powered
explosive
and give it to another player. Said player may then use that explosive on subsequent nights to attempt to kill another player

Once a game, at night, you may create an high-powered explosive instead. This explosive functions similarly to the low-powered explosive with the exception that those successfully targeted by it will unavoidably die.

Should you be the last remaining member of your faction alive then (and only then) you will be able to use these explosives yourself. If this is the case the explosive may be used immediately within the same day it's been crafted

While a player is under hostage they're considered untargetable and will be limited to a maximum of 30 posts per day phase (this includes naked vote posts). Should this post-restriction be broken they will unavoidably die during the subsequent night phase

Think I just realized how non-standard groupscum works and believe I've placed too many hostile roles. Will edit later, when I get home

To clarify,

How I thought it worked: roll hostile for non-standard groupscum. Reroll for 2/3/etc Hostile roles of those available to decide the composition of the hostile faction

How I'm pretty sure it actually works: roll hostile for non-standard groupscum. All roles considered of hostile alignment will be placed into the game and will be the composition of the hostile faction.

As such, I'm going to switch out the two rookie cards and modify the captain card when I get a chance to do so.

During pregame, the mod will inform you of 3 other roles that exist within the game chosen at random.


Should you pick this card for role when not of groupscum or quasi-groupscum alignment, you will become a traitor to a masonry should one exist, otherwise the traitor part of this role will be disabled.

Should a traitor be the only player in the game aligned with their chosen faction, the mod will make them a full member of said faction (as to avoid them being automatically endgamed).

Dark Void
-During Odd-Numbered Night phases you may elect to pull a player into the shadow realm during that night phase. This action has priority over most other actions. While in the shadow realm, your target will be rendered untargetable and all actions they perform will fail.

Dark Corruption
-Once a game, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action that player will perform a night kill on a target of your choosing in your steed. This action replaces your night kill, the night it is used.

Dark Shroud
-Once a game, you may envelop the field with heavy darkness during the night. This will cause all actions other than your Night Kill to fail. Upon using this ability Dark Void and Dark Corruption will be disabled.

This is how non-standard groupscum actually works in the Deck of Astral Roles: Reopened:

Everyone gets three role cards and picks one for alignment, one for role, and one to publically discard. A non-standard groupscum role card must be picked for the alignment if you want to be non-standard groupscum.

If there would be some non-standard groupscum teams with only one member, they may get folded into other non-standard groupscum teams after picks based on mod discretion.

Also, your post is missing a role card. Please edit a role card in that post.
