Something I wanted to talk about is in the postgame tbone mentioned to me that if we had rolled a lover PM we would have been able to see the lover PT (read only access)

which strikes me as directly a lie and bastard modding given the way the scum roles are described in the rules. I think there's very little way for town to anticipate that to be the case given the rule set.

It didnt come up because we never rolled one but I thought it was something I wanted to talk about.

i think the whole "scum can't use amnesiac roles" is like actually terrible design and this would be better without all the "ohh X can't be scum because they used X action" or that whole thing about lovers.

me not understanding just using my role n1 to confirm me is actually very funny to me in hindsight but also just tells me how bad this setup is.

I wasn't that hostile. Your problem is that you never disengaged and that gave me the space to dominate the discussion. In other words, you constantly gave me a platform to defend myself, and I'm good at doing that, not towards you, but for the rest of the players reading our interactions.

We tried! Me and Snakelet had a system set up, and the mod locked the game for twelve hours and told us in the PT to knock that shit off. (Not in those exact words, basically deleted the posts from the PT and told us not to try that again)

In hindsight we still could have achieved more or less the same result by asking people to paraphrase rather than use exact words to signal us.

But nobody ended up in there besides me and ircher, so it's a moot point.

Not that hostile? You had to openly apologize for being an asshole, and then you got even worse towards me when I pushed you after that. It's all good though. Part of the game. Next time I'll learn to work through that fake anger and push your scummy self anyway!

The threshold of mafia is way higher than what I portrayed in this game at any given moment. I would say that I was more of a dick to Klick than to Black at some point. And my point is still the same: Black gave me a platform to defend myself by engaging with me like she was trying to convince me that I was scum when I know what my alignment is lol

If by giving you a platform you mean calling you out for being scummy, of course I did. I would do it again. Unfortunately you used the "platform" I gave you to make things uncomfortable and no one really wants to engage with that. On top of that I'm just not good at rallying others to my cause yet but I think I can get there eventually

I only began to get suspicious of scum!Shea in the last TM after a lot of days but I was a bit proud of suspecting them a bit since the start...until he apparently revealed it to have been intentional?

Well, gg scumteam you played well, I think around ?half? the team were being suspected in the start up to where I read (page 40 or so?) but you managed to navigate the game and ultimately endgame town without losing a single evil soldier!

(I think Klick/Titus/DragonEater were also my unique town reads and they were all killed )

I want to add to the complaints regarding setup however, I really enjoy new designs and elements and the amnesiac features are awesome ideas. but in implementing, there are several factors to consider,

like how random power distribution is, how its impossible for scum to get rid of power roles and how having some elements by town, can potentially clear them. the design was made so scum would try and use fallacies to clear themselves like what happened in this game, but still, the fact that there are a lot of scenarios in just based on roles rotation scum has almost no chance of living out of POE is not fine balance wise.
