Religous Wars: (Game Over, Christians win!)

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Fri Aug 01, 2008 1:00 pm

Status: Game is over, SensFan and Jahudo, Christians, win!

A game I've recently come up with and am curious to see how it will go.

How it works:
6 of the major religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Atheism) are fighting, each having a grudge against another religion (randomly determined, with no one religion has more than one other religion with a grudge against it. Everyone who is a part of a religion has the same grudge.

There will be twelve people in the game, two for each religion. Each religion will have the ability to kill a player once per phase. Each player will survive the first attempt on their lives, and have a second immunity to the religion they have a grudge against. If targeted by the religion they have a grudge against before any other religion targets them, the second immunity, not the first, is used.

Players may talk privately and in the thread to everyone, and know the other player who is a part of their religion but not who is a part of the religion their religion has a grudge against.

Each phase of the game will last for 72 hours. If this is not long enough, let me know.

First religion to kill off the religion it has a grudge against wins.

Alive:
Netlava-Hindu
Vamparific-Hindu
doctor no-Atheist
Cybele-Muslim
Jahudo-Christian, wins!
Tombolo-Atheist
Grek-Jew
klebian-Jew

Dead:
chenshi, Buddhist, killed Phase 2
Iron Man, Muslim, killed Phase 2
SensFan, Christian, killed Phase 3 but still wins
kloud1516, Buddhist, killed Phase 3

This promotes religious prejudice... =P

bird edit: Just as most of the games here promotes killing for little/no reason :P

Lalalala...

I'm rooting for my, unrepresented, religion. As my religion does not promote or partake in violence like the other six do. Tsk, tsk. Go my secret religion that I do not want added to this pointless war.

(Yes, I am promoting religious prejudice against all these religions, which is against my religion) ...

I didn't know atheism was a religion. :-)
Show
Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you

What's it about?
No.

We're open-minded people that respect people and other religions and we don't have a unified view on God (you can choose what you believe). But the main focus is to respect people and others.

My personal philosophy is that if I live my life with good intentions a hypothetical God would not judge me based on which religion I believe but how I live.

Thread-jacking is my life <3.

I refuse to participate in a game in which I am forced to believe in something.
