DO IT

Also, just confirming what PJ said - we won't be leaving until ~5:30pm on Thursday anyway, and leaving on Sunday early afternoonish, as we'd just planned a quick trip.

Off of this list, I only own Settlers and Wits & Wagers. Gnome said he'll bring Notre Dame and Betrayal at House on the Hill.

Alright, Dirge and I sat down today and did a little planning and we've got a request: it'd be great if everyone who attends brings a
wrapped prize
. It doesn't have to be extravagant and, don't worry, it's not for a gift exchange. If you can bring more than one, that would be GREAT. If you can't bring one at all, don't worry about it but please do let me know.

I'm getting so excited! Less than three weeks away!

MeMe, have any considerations been made for doing one of the two or three interesting things one can do in Springfield? I imagine I wouldn't be the only one who'd enjoy Skinny Improv, for instance.

We did Skinny Improv during MeMeMeet and also went to McSalty's to hear the band.

The only "out of the house" thing we've planned this time is Lamberts for lunner (around 3 or 4 o'clock) on Saturday. The time is so short and we have
so much
fun just playing games that I hate to plan much more. Case in point: a day out playing "assassination" for Thespival was planned, but everyone just wanted to skip it when it came time...

We did have a great time at the Improv, even though Pooky and Quag fell asleep!

Trust me, the show was WAY funnier if you were unconcious.

So I've just used half of my miles to book the ticket, I'm pretty much definitely coming.

I kinda suck at wrapping, can i just use some cheap plastic bag?

I've just been asked a question about the wrapped prize via PM and I thought it'd be good to clarify in the thread as well.

There is no minimum or maximum amount that should be spent on this thing. As I said, it's
not
a gift exchange, so you shouldn't worry about matching the quality of anyone else's offering!

Added to list o' games to be available, if possible (I like to be over-prepared)

*Big City
Incan Gold
Jungle Speed
Mu
Pandemic
Sticheln
Schnappchen Jagd
Yspahan
Patrician

I'm sure some of this can be redacted downwards, these are just the ones that piqued my interest.

You're going to Lamberts? I wish I could go...

Wait a sec... I might be able to go... I'd just need to quit early and it would be a double(ish) vacation for me. I dunno if my GF would want to come with me or not, but she'd probably freak out if she came.

I'll see what I can do.

Well... it's looking to be about a 20% chance for me. And my GF doesn't want to go. I just need to convince my mom and my younger sister that y'all aren't going to rape and/or kill me....

They're afraid of the internet.

PS: Gas prices sucking is the other reason I might not make it (college student w/o a job during college >.<).
